The Shenzhen-listed company, known for its flagship SF Express delivery business, has started preparations for the Hong Kong listing and aims to file the prospectus with the Hong Kong exchange by June, one of the sources said. SF Holding, which has a market value of 267 billion yuan ($38.63 billion), did not immediately respond to Reuters' request for comment. Bloomberg News on Friday first reported SF Holding's listing plans, citing people familiar with the matter. Its express delivery business covers nearly 100 countries overseas including the United States and Japan, according to its 2022 annual report. SF went public in Shenzhen in 2017 and listed two of its units - SF Real Estate Investment Trust (2191.HK) and Hangzhou SF Intra-City Industrial (9699.HK) - in Hong Kong in 2021.

SYDNEY, April 27 (Reuters) - Chinese spirit maker ZJLD Group's (6979.HK) shares opened 17% lower in their trading debut on Thursday, after it completed the largest new share sale in Hong Kong this year. The KKR-backed company raised $675.2 million last week in the biggest new share sale in Hong Kong since CALB Group Co (3931.HK) raised $1.3 billion in October. ZJLD shares opened at HK$9 compared to the issue price of HK$10.82 each. MedSci Healthcare Holdings (2415.HK) shares dropped 1.1% on Thursday when its shares also debuted in Hong Kong after it raised $77 million last week. Institutional investors subscribed for 3.9 times the amount of ZJLD shares on offer in that tranche, according to the firm's filings, which was above many other Hong Kong IPOs this year.

Some 78.9% of proxy votes on behalf of Oz Minerals' investors were in favour of the takeover offer of A$26.50 cash from BHP and a A$1.75 special dividend paid to Oz Minerals investors, at a shareholder meeting in Adelaide on Thursday. It will bring in Oz Minerals' Carapateena copper mine, close to BHP's own Olympic Dam copper mine and smelting operations in South Australia. Strategically it will also boost BHP's nickel supply through Oz Minerals' West Musgrave nickel project in Western Australia, where BHP is already producing nickel sulphate at its Nickel West operations. If the deal is approved as expected, Oz Minerals shares will be suspended on April 18. Oz Minerals' board had unanimously supported the bid.
SYDNEY, April 12 (Reuters) - Macquarie Group (MQG.AX) has hired Credit Suisse's top Australian dealmaker Dragi Ristevski, according to a memo from the bank. Ristevski has been Credit Suisse's head of investment banking and capital markets. He will join Macquarie as the investment bank's head of financial sponsors for Asia Pacific, the memo said. SK Hynix's deal was the largest convertible bond in the Asia-Pacific region, excluding Japan, in a year, according to Refinitiv data. The deal, L'Oreal's largest ever brand acquisition according to Dealogic data, expands the firm's presence in the luxury cosmetics market, while also providing the Brazilian company with some financial relief amid shrinking margins and heavy debt. The acquisition is also the third largest on record of an Australian company in the consumer products sector, the data showed. "Aesop taps into all of today's ascending currents and L'Oreal will contribute to unleash its massive growth potential, notably in China and travel retail," L'Oreal CEO Nicolas Hieronimus said in a statement.
In a filing on Thurday, JD.com said it would continue to hold a stake of more than 50% in the units, JD Industrials and JD Property, upon completion of the proposed spin-off. JD.com said the size and structure of its units' initial public offerings had not yet been finalised. Two sources with knowledge of the floats said the two JD units are seeking to raise $1 billion each in the IPO. In their listing prospectuses filed later on Thursday, JD Industrials and JD Property disclosed annual revenues of 14.1 billion yuan ($2.05 billion) and 2.3 billion yuan, respectively. UBS and Citic Securities are the financial advisers for JD Industrials, while UBS is the financial adviser for JD Property.
The companies are in talks with financial advisors to explore a sale of Selangor, Malaysia-based Ramsay Sime Darby Health Care to strategic investors, three sources said. "Sime Darby Berhad continues to review strategic growth options for our healthcare segment," a company spokesperson told Reuters in an emailed statement. Ramsay Sime Darby did not immediately respond to comment. IHH, one of Asia's biggest private hospital operators, had submitted an indicative proposal in March 2022 to buy Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare. Ramsay Sime Darby was established in 2013 via an equal joint venture of Ramsay and Sime Darby to expand their healthcare business in Southeast Asia.
Origin, Australia's top energy retailer, on Monday agreed to the long-running takeover offer from the consortium, nearing the conclusion of one of the country's biggest private equity-backed buyouts. Once the deal is completed, EIG's MidOcean Energy will take control of Origin's integrated gas business. Thomas said government policy swings world over are a by-product of the volatility associated with the tension between energy security and the transition to cleaner energy. Origin, Australia's No. Brookfield said it plans to invest a further A$20 billion of capital to fully replace Origin's power generation and its power purchases with green power over a decade.

HONG KONG, March 24 (Reuters) - Standard Chartered (STAN.L) Chief Executive Bill Winters said on Friday Credit Suisse AG's (CSGN.S) $17 billion Additional Tier 1 bonds wipeout had "profound" implications for global bank regulations. Winters told a financial forum in Hong Kong the U.S. Federal Reserve move to guarantee non-insured deposits was a "moral hazard". "I think it had very profound implications for the regulation of banks, and for the way that banks manage themselves," Winters said. The bank had 147% LCR before the bank failures and this was "substantially higher now", Winters said, without disclosing the current level. Sydney, March 23 (Reuters) - Credit Suisse (CSGN.S) said on Thursday it has hired private banker Kwong Kin Mun as its new vice chairman for Southeast Asia wealth management. Swiss regulators said it was necessary authorities took action as there was a risk Credit Suisse could have become "illiquid, even if it remained solvent" after a tumultuous period in which the share price tanked and deposits fell sharply. In a statement from the investment bank, Kwong said "the sparks from the merger of two global leaders in wealth management will create enormous potential for clients and private bankers." The UBS takeover is likely to result in major job cuts at Credit Suisse and the Swiss Bank Employees Association said on Monday staff reductions should be kept to a minimum. China property stocks fall after Evergrande debt revamp plan

HONG KONG, March 23 (Reuters) - China Evergrande Group's (3333.HK) long-awaited offshore debt restructuring proposals failed to address investor concerns about the property sector's prospects, sending shares of rival developers lower on Thursday. An index tracking mainland-based property developers (.HSMPI) slipped 1.1% by early morning Hong Kong time, while the broader stock benchmark (.HIS) was flat. Under the debt restructuring plan, Evergrande bondholders were given two main options. "I think its too early to speculate that this could show that the worst is over for Evergrande," he added. Evergrande said on Wednesday that additional financing of 250 billion yuan ($36.55 billion) to 300 billion yuan would be required for its business as it resumes operations over the next three years.
