The internet is freaking out over clips generated by AI text-to-video generator ModelScope. The AI-generated videos come after a recent AI-generated picture of the Pope when viral. The videos were made using ModelScope Text to Video Synthesis, a free AI video generator that AI firm Hugging Face released to the public last week. CNN —Scarlett Johansson is opening up about some of her early roles. During a conversation on the “Table for Two” podcast on Tuesday, Johansson described how she felt while filming her 2003 movies “Lost in Translation” and “Girl with a Pearl Earring” while she was still a teenager. “I think it was because of that trajectory I had been sort of launched towards, I really got stuck,” she said. “I was kind of being groomed, in a way, to be this what you call a bombshell-type of actor.”Johannson said her agent Bryan Lourd helped her turn things around. “But for that kind of bombshell, you know, that burns bright and quick and then it’s done and you don’t have opportunity beyond that.”

Iger is responsible for Disney's all-in embrace of streaming, and the launch of its marquee service, Disney+, but he acknowledged the measurement of success has changed. Disney joins a number of media companies seeking to grow their streaming services without sacrificing its film or television businesses. From a sound stage on Disney's lot, Iger said he returns to the company he led for 15 years with a sense of urgency. He offered no timing on the restructuring of the company's film and television distribution group, Disney Media and Entertainment Distribution.
