AdvertisementThere's been plenty of discussion of how millennials and Gen Zers cope in the professional world. Many Gen Zers, in comparison, prioritize work-life balance and keeping a job being "just a job." Jishnu Jayan Nair, 29, told BI it is "a bit tricky to find your place in the workplace" as a zillennial. Kevin Shahnazari, the 26-year-old founder of the credit card recommendation platform FinlyWealth, told BI being a zillennial has worked in his favor. "I think a lot of people are in this sort of push and pull of the zillennial — wanting to be their best, wanting to also slow down, wanting to embrace parts of both cultures," she said.

Still, if in Biden’s mind a worst-case scenario was prevented, the larger knot that is the Middle East conflict remains as firmly gnarled as ever. Biden and Harris joined a call Saturday with their national security team and were briefed on the the latest developments in the region according to the White House. But few believe there will be any resolution before the November 5 US presidential election, leaving Biden and Harris’ inability to bring stability to the region a serious political liability. Eyad Baba/AFP/Getty ImagesFor her part, Harris has offered little evidence she would adopt a different approach if elected. “As far as we’re concerned, that should close out the direct exchange between Israel and Iran,” the official went on.

The former president is returning to his hometown on Sunday for a rally in one of New York City’s most iconic landmarks, Madison Square Garden. Harris and Trump have made clear the issues they’re highlighting in the campaign’s last days. That argument illustrates what a Harris administration would look like compared with the threat Harris says Trump poses, the official said. The vice president continued that celebrity-fueled push Friday night in Texas – a rare visit to a state that is not a presidential battleground. The Madison Square Garden rally will be one of the most-covered moments of the race – with media coverage reaching into all seven swing states.

The company posted adjusted earnings per share of 52 cents and revenue of $25.50 billion last quarter . Stakes are even higher for the company following an underwhelming robotaxi event earlier this month that failed to impress Wall Street analysts and investors hopeful for a turnaround. He retained an equal weight rating and $220 price target, implying shares will trade in a range from here.

While rent prices are undoubtedly rising, it’s unclear how much of the jump is due to corporate investors who buy up multiple properties. “Community after community feels taken advantage of by Wall Street investors and corporate landlords who have bought thousands of single-family homes during recent downturns,” Harris’ policy platform reads. A CNN analysis found that rent increases recently outpaced wage growth in cities with a meaningful presence of big investors. Ownership by corporate landlords, which CNN calculated by combining limited liability entities, real estate corporations and real estate investment trusts, stood at 16%. The number of single-family homes under construction dramatically decreased after the 2008 financial crisis, and construction never really returned to pre-recession levels.

The senior housing industry is approaching its "golden age" and Bookdale Senior Living should benefit, according to Jefferies. Analyst Brian Tanquilut initiated coverage of Brookdale Senior Living with a buy rating, saying that the sector should benefit from better occupancy as baby boomers "age into the sweet spot." "The combination of positive demographic trends, improved operations, and financial engineering ... should all translate to improved earnings performance that's not yet baked into the stock," he wrote. A slowdown in new construction due to Covid-19 delays and higher costs should also benefit shares. Of those, two have buy ratings, and the others assigned it an underperform rating, LSEG data shows.

Don't overlook the artificial intelligence potential of Cisco Systems , Citi said. "While AI is currently a small piece of the biz (~2% of revs), we see the potential for a stronger contribution," he wrote. At least three major hyperscalers have already begun using the company's tools in backend networks, and Malik views Cisco's recent $9 billion 2027 hyperscaler AI opportunity forecast as potentially understated. "We believe shares warrant a sizable discount to networking peer valuation to reflect lingering share loss concerns, somewhat tempered by growing AI opportunities," he wrote. "Even at a 30+% discounted target multiple to peer average, we see meaningful upside to shares."
