DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Republican Joe Fraser, a U.S. Navy veteran and political newcomer, launched a longshot campaign Tuesday to oust three-term Democratic U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar, of Minnesota. Fraser served in the Navy for 26 years, according to his website, with deployments to Europe, Haiti, the Far East and the Middle East. But the popular Klobuchar, who ran unsuccessfully for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2020, will be tough to beat. No current or recent office holders have indicated a desire to take on Klobuchar, and time is running out. No Republican has won statewide office in Minnesota since 2006, when Tim Pawlenty was reelected governor.

MANASSAS, Va. (AP) — It was President Joe Biden's first big campaign rally of the year, a chance to spotlight the issue of protecting abortion rights. Instead, at least a dozen times during Biden's 22-minute speech, demonstrators scattered throughout the audience rose to shout out demands for a cease-fire in Gaza. Joe!”“They feel deeply,” Biden said of the demonstrators, who were pulled from the room by security personnel. The Democratic president is increasingly contending with protests inside and outside his events from progressives upset about his administration's support for Israel in its offensive in Gaza. People with PCOS may have small cysts on their ovaries, irregular periods, insulin resistance , excess hair growth, and infertility. Which supplements are most appropriate depends on the PCOS symptoms a patient has, she said. Inositol supplements are thought to restore the correct ratio of inositols in the body, helping to reverse some of the signs and symptoms of PCOS. Rochester, New Hampshire CNN —Bonnie Cote never considered voting for anyone other than former President Donald Trump. Despite months of campaigning and millions spent on ads, mailers and door knocking in the Granite State, some Trump supporters said they were unfamiliar with Haley. “Everybody came out for Trump, Trump, Trump… so, why not go for Trump?”Kirwin said she thought Trump was “a little crazy” and his found his personality “awful,” but she also recalled watching him in the first 2016 general election debate against Hillary Clinton. “And make no mistake, we will restore our national pride.”It’s an argument that has worked on some former Trump voters. Mike Segar | ReutersMarkets are "fairly complacent" about the risks of a second Donald Trump presidency, which could trigger a "tantrum" in long-duration bond markets, according to Guillermo Felices, principal and global investment strategist at PGIM. watch nowSome analysts are also looking ahead through a fiscal and geopolitical lens to November's U.S. presidential election and beyond. 'Fiscal risk' at a time of high deficit The crucial point, Felices acknowledged, is America's deteriorating fiscal position in recent decades. "The market is not really focusing too much on the potential upside risks to yields that are associated with this potential repricing of term premia. Nikki Haley doesn’t defeat former President Donald Trump in New Hampshire’s primary on Tuesday, the fight may be over. Haley said Sunday she would “absolutely” remain in the Republican presidential race through South Carolina’s February 24 primary. Recent departures from the 2024 race have already shaped the New Hampshire Republican primary. Another 3% of likely GOP primary voters say they’d vote for someone else. For her part, Haley insisted Monday on Fox News that she’ll continue in the race, no matter the outcome of the New Hampshire primary.

Mr. DeSantis, who endorsed Mr. Trump on his way out of the race, earned some praise and a reprieve from the former president’s persistent name-calling. In fact, most have now thrown their support behind Mr. Trump, underscoring the steep challenges she faces in securing allies to challenge the famously spiteful Mr. Trump. The betrayal of Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, a former Haley ally who endorsed Mr. Trump, seemed to particularly sting Ms. Haley. Chris Christie of New Jersey has previously signaled his reluctance to endorse Ms. Haley, and she has countered that she did not want his endorsement.) What remains unclear on the eve of the primary is just how much impact Mr. DeSantis’s withdrawal will have in New Hampshire.

With a Manhattan jury soon to decide how much money, if any, Donald J. Trump must pay the writer E. Jean Carroll for defaming her in 2019 when she first accused him of a decades-old rape in a department store dressing room, the question of whether Mr. Trump will testify still looms as the trial resumes Monday. Mr. Trump said Sunday he would be in court, and the judge, Lewis A. Kaplan, is likely to ask him directly whether he will take the stand. Mr. Trump, 77, has suggested that he wanted to testify in the civil trial, which is beginning its second week, and in court filings, Mr. Trump’s and Ms. Carroll’s lawyers have been debating the parameters of what the former president should be allowed to mention. Last week, Mr. Trump alternated appearances at the trial with trips to New Hampshire. The state holds its presidential primary Tuesday, and Mr. Trump has been seeking the Republican nomination with rallies this weekend in Concord, Manchester and Rochester.

Mike Segar | ReutersMarkets need to begin thinking about the structural impact of Donald Trump's proposed 10% tariff increase, which "shakes up every asset class," according to Michael Every, global strategist at Rabobank. He suggested one of investors' top concerns would be the 10% tariff on all U.S. imports. Trump floated the 10% tariff during an interview last year with Fox Business' Larry Kudlow, his former White House economic advisor, saying "it's a massive amount of money." China responded with its own tariffs on U.S. goods, and Trump also imposed tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from most countries, including many of Washington's biggest allies. He noted Trump's tendency to "change his mind" so frequently on geopolitical issues that "people won't know where his thinking is at."

But Haley faces an existential question for her own campaign Tuesday. “They’re all all coming with us,” Trump noted with satisfaction at a rally in Rochester, New Hampshire, on Sunday night. An unexpectedly high turnout of undeclared voters powered late Arizona Sen. John McCain to a shock victory in the 2000 GOP primary against George W. Bush. The former president publicly fulminated against Judge Lewis Kaplan as “nasty” and a “Trump-hating guy” and bucked courtroom etiquette. Trump accused Kaplan of being heartless for not suspending the trial so that he can attend the funeral of his mother-in-law. But Haley has only implicitly criticized Trump’s assault on democracy, false claims of electoral fraud and tumultuous term in office. Nikki Haley might have come in third in the Iowa caucuses, but as she campaigns in New Hampshire for its first-in-the-nation primary next week, her attention is squarely focused on only one rival: Donald J. Trump. Ms. Haley, a former South Carolina governor who served as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under Mr. Trump, has begun fine-tuning her argument against her former boss, trying out new jabs and unleashing a new attack ad right out of the gate. She has also stepped up her efforts to frame herself as Mr. Trump’s top rival, announcing that she would no longer participate in primary debates that don’t include him. In recent remarks and in a new television ad, Ms. Haley paints Mr. Trump and President Biden as two sides of the same coin: politicians past their prime who are unable to put forth a vision for the country’s future because they are “consumed by the past, by investigations, by grievances.”At a campaign rally on Wednesday in Rochester, N.H., she fended off Mr. Trump’s attacks on her immigration record, warned voters not to believe his ads against her and reminded them that it was Mr. Trump who had wanted to raise the age for Social Security eligibility and had once proposed increasing the gas tax.

This storied hospital is known for its patient care as well as scientific breakthroughs in cancer and gene therapies. “We know that for overall health care transformation, indeed even for digital innovation to thrive in health care, we also need new types of health care buildings," he said at the ceremony attended by Gov.
