(AP) — Patrick Mahomes threw for 424 yards and four touchdowns, Travis Kelce caught 12 passes for 179 yards and a score, and the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Los Angeles Chargers 31-17 on Sunday to take command of the AFC West. Joshua Palmer caught five passes for 133 yards and Joshua Kelley ran seven times for 75 yards and a score. The score left Mahomes with 321 yards passing, the fourth time in his career that he had been over 300 yards before halftime. And it left Kelce with nine catches for 143 yards and a score. It only left the Chiefs with a 24-17 lead, though, because the Chargers were getting some big plays of their own.

CNN —In a surprise to absolutely nobody, Taylor Swift was back in Kansas City on Sunday to support Travis Kelce at his football game. Wearing a red Kansas City Chiefs t-shirt and a black cheerleader-inspired miniskirt, Swift appeared on CBS’s broadcast at Arrowhead Stadium watching the team play the Los Angeles Chargers. She was seen embracing Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, after Kelce made a big play on the field. Sunday marked the fourth time the singer has attended one of Kelce’s football games in person since she first appeared on the Chiefs’ home turf in September. Despite the G-rated PDA and the four football games Swift has now attended in person to support the two-time Super Bowl champ, they have yet to publicly comment on their relationship status.

Los Angeles tied it at 17 with 7:11 remaining when Gerald Everett caught a 1-yard touchdown pass from Justin Herbert. Brandon Aubrey made two field goals, including a 39-yarder with 2:19 remaining, to give the Cowboys the lead. It also marked the longest TD run by a Cowboys quarterback since Jon Kitna went 29 yards against Detroit in 2010. The Cowboys took a 10-7 lead into halftime when Aubrey connected for a 32-yard field goal on the last play of the second quarter.

Also, the Raiders announced that starting cornerback Nate Hobbs will not play because of an ankle injury, and running back Brandon Bolden didn't make the trip to Los Angeles because of personal reasons. HENDERSON, Nev. (AP) — Raiders quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo is in concussion protocol, putting his status in question for when Las Vegas visits the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. If Garoppolo can't play, the Raiders will go with 15-year veteran Brian Hoyer or rookie Aidan O'Connell. The Raiders signed Garoppolo in the offseason after parting ways with nine-year starter Derek Carr, who now plays for the New Orleans Saints. McDaniels and Garoppolo have a history back to when both were with the New England Patriots, McDaniels as offensive coordinator and Garoppolo as Tom Brady's backup. “But that's playing quarterback in the NFL, and he's done it well before.”Like Garoppolo, Hoyer and McDaniels share a Patriots background.

Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams will miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn ACL in his left knee. The team said an MRI on Monday morning confirmed the ACL tear. Williams suffered the injury late in the third quarter of Sunday's 28-24 win over the Minnesota Vikings. Williams had seven receptions for 121 yards and a touchdown during the game.
