LOS ANGELES (AP) — It didn't take long for Southern California's Bronny James to make an impact in his first game against rival UCLA. The freshman blocked the shot of UCLA's Dylan Andrews as he drove to the basket, but the son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James ended up celebrating a little too much. James picked up a technical foul with 12:06 remaining in the first half when he yelled “give me that (stuff)" toward Andrews and the crowd at the Galen Center. It was James' first technical foul in a collegiate game. James went to the bench after the technical before coming in later in the first half.

Luka Doncic and Devin Booker went on another NBA scoring spree on Friday night, making this a week like none other in league history. “I mean, you have some amazing players, man," Doncic said Friday when asked about the recent run of great scoring performances. James enjoyed such a moment on Saturday in his LA Lakers’ 107-97 win over the Houston Rockets, as he pivoted past the defense and pulled off an incredible 360 reverse layup, before falling to the floor where he lost track of the ball. But “the fans let me know that I made it,” he later told reporters. After all, even at almost 39 and in his 21st NBA season, LeBron is still LeBron, his presence on the court still able to transform games and generate column inches. James was expected to have a final evaluation with USC staff before resuming practice next week, a family spokesperson said in a statement. That meant the Celtics won East Group C.“You just know what the reason is,” Nets forward Mikal Bridges said.
