CNBC's Jim Cramer guided investors through next week's Wall Street action, pinpointing earnings reports from numerous retailers, as well as semiconductor giant Nvidia . "Next week is historically a pretty positive time, but I'm cognizant that we've had a big run here," Cramer said. He said he's optimistic next week will be strong, albeit short, "if we get a continuation of the rotation into beaten down retailers, along with a huge guide-up by Nvidia." Cramer said Tuesday brings a "deluge" of earnings from retail companies: Best Buy , Burlington , Dick's Sporting Goods , Kohl's , Nordstrom and Lowe's . Morning Bid: Ebbing oil sustains economic glow

Word "Oil" and stock graph are seen through magnifier displayed in this illustration taken September 4, 2022. That drop, which takes annual producer price inflation as low as 1.3%, was driven largely by falling gasoline prices. And that meets news that China's oil refinery throughput fell back in October as industrial fuel demand weakened. The overall energy and inflation picture is helping buoy consumption and stokes the 'soft landing' narrative investors are betting on. The picture in overseas markets, where the economic picture is cloudier, was more mixed.

The company said Thursday that it will close both of its “Amazon Style” stores located in Los Angeles and Columbus, Ohio, making it the latest brick-and-mortar business abandoned by Amazon. Amazon opened the first Amazon Style store last year at The Americana at Brand, a mall in Glendale, California. Earlier this year, Amazon said it was shutting down some Amazon Fresh and Go stores that weren’t living up to their promise. “Physical retail remains an important part of our business, and we’re continuing to invest in growing our grocery stores business, which spans Amazon Fresh, Whole Foods Market, Amazon Go, and third-party partnerships,” spokesperson Kristen Kish said. Walmart's logo is seen outside one of the stores ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday in Chicago, Illinois, U.S. November 27, 2019. The merchandise mix Walmart (WMT.N) will carry rests not purely on retail executives' judgment but rather on software it developed around 2019. Its machine-learning algorithm relies on weather patterns and each store's past sales data to predict inventory needs of its more than 4,700 U.S. locations, a Walmart tech executive told Reuters.
