Growing demand for artificial intelligence servers should boost shares of Dell Technologies over the long haul, according to Morgan Stanley. "Importantly, this opportunity is incremental and not yet cannibalistic to general purpose server demand," Woodring wrote. "When we then consider the Gen AI story is still in its infancy - with demand outstripping supply - we believe AI servers can remain a model tailwind for years to come." Along with the AI story, Morgan Stanley views stabilizing hardware spending and better cost management and execution as key to Dell's upside from here. DELL YTD mountain Dell shares have gained about 40% in 2023 A potential S & P 500 inclusion should also benefit Dell and expand the investor base for shares, Woodring added.

The X logo is pretty nice. Mourn the blue bird for now, but get used to the new X. I know we miss the blue bird, but come on, the new X logo isn't that bad. Lots of people were nervous that the demise of the bird logo and its renaming to "X" would come with another ugly or incomprehensible logo. Goodbye, Twitter bird.

David Solomon has been Goldman Sachs' CEO for over four years since succeeding Lloyd Blankfein. There's been a lot of talk about the morale at Goldman Sachs. Solomon said there were fewer "partner transitions at Goldman Sachs" in 2022 than any year "going back to 2014." Meanwhile, Solomon's expensive foray into consumer banking raised the ire of some longtime Goldman partners, as Insider has previously reported. The fresh faces among the Goldman Sachs executives who took the stage at the bank's investor day highlight the leadership changes under Solomon.
Mike Lindell owes Robert Zeidman $5 million over a contest to disprove the 2020 election was rigged. Lindell told Insider that Zeidman, a computer scientist, "isn't even a cyber guy." Joshi told Insider there's no basis for Lindell's claim that Zeidman should not have been in the "Prove Mike Wrong" contest. "Mike Lindell is not gonna take this big sham," he told Insider, speaking in the third person. Lindell told Insider Friday he was frustrated that Fox News caved.
The regulator announced a nearly $279 million award to a whistleblower on May 5, more than double the previous record of $114 million awarded in October 2020. When whistleblower information leads to settlements, tipsters can earn between 10 and 30 percent of the financial penalties paid by wrongdoers. When whistleblower information leads to settlements, the tipsters can earn a percentage of the financial penalties paid by wrongdoers. The tipster's law firm, Kirby McInerney, worked with state authorities on the investigation after "Tooley's" lawsuit was filed. This means tax-fraud whistleblowers will increasingly look for ways to bring their tips to New York law enforcement to be more involved in the investigation process.
Morgan Stanley thinks the personal computer market has likely bottomed and has pegged Dell Technologies as big beneficiary. The firm upgraded shares of the tech and PC company to overweight from equal weight. "We believe the PC market is forming a bottom, and we want to own Dell for the cyclical PC market rebound," analyst Erik Woodring said, noting that the first quarter likely marked the worst of the PC downturn. "Looking at prior PC downcycles, (2011-2013), DELL's stock bottomed one quarter ahead of the PC market bottom. Given we model PC market Y/Y declines bottoming in 1Q23, we believe the trough in DELL's stock could already be behind us," Woodring said.

United stay top on 47 points after 19 games of the 22-game season, six ahead of second-placed Manchester City and seven ahead of Chelsea, but the Blues have three games in hand over the leaders. It was a tough defeat for Villa, for whom striker Rachel Daly opened the scoring in the ninth minute with a brilliantly-timed looping header from a corner, but Leah Galton's first-time finish brought United back level six minutes later. The 31-year-old Daly put her side in front again eight minutes before the break, netting her 17th goal of the season to draw level with WSL top scorer Khadija Shaw of Manchester City. She almost completed her hat-trick on the hour mark but her left-foot shot clipped the crossbar, and instead United drew level as Nikita Parris headed home Hannah Blundell's cross. MADRID, April 27 (Reuters) - Spain's Sabadell (SABE.MC) on Thursday said its first-quarter net profit fell 4% from the same period in 2022 due to the impact of a new banking tax in Spain which could not be offset by a solid performance in lending income. While an IPO is not on the immediate horizon, the company is taking a step in the direction of preparing for one, hiring Meta's investor relations head to further build out its engagement with current and future shareholders. Deborah Crawford, who has served as Meta 's vice president of investor relations for more than eight years, is being appointed as Fanatics' head of investor relations, a new position at the company. Prior to Meta, Crawford was head of investor relations for Netflix, where she helped initiate the streaming company's first formal investor relations function, according to Fanatics. Schiffman declined to comment on the potential timing of a Fanatics IPO but confirmed the company has a goal of going public. Fanatics has seen its valuation and investor roster drastically expand in recent years, which has also helped to fuel IPO chatter.
Dell is stepping up to tackle this problem, committing to a circular business model. By 2030, Dell will ensure that 100% of its packaging will be either reused or made from recycled or renewable material. Additionally, more than half of its product content will also be made from recycled, renewable, or reduced carbon emissions material. Already, there are almost 400 million pounds of sustainable materials in Dell's products and packaging and 55% of its electricity comes from renewable sources. "Our emphasis on environmental, social, and governance measures ensures that while we accomplished our business goals, we also delivered positive results for all of our stakeholders," he said.
WASHINGTON, April 20 (Reuters) - Mike Lindell, a prominent ally of former U.S. President Donald Trump, has been ordered to pay $5 million to a man who debunked Lindell's false claims of election fraud, the plaintiff's law firm said on Thursday. An arbitration panel ordered Lindell, the founder of pillow manufacturer My Pillow and a well-known election conspiracy theorist, to pay cyber expert Robert Zeidman after he won a contest Lindell hosted in Nevada in July 2021. "Lindell's claim to have 2020 election data has been definitively disproved." A significant portion of self-identified conservatives in the U.S. continue to falsely believe that the 2020 presidential election, which Trump lost, was marred by widespread fraud. In 2021, Dominion Voting Systems, which just reached a $787.5 million settlement with Fox Corp and Fox News, sued Lindell for damages related to his vote-rigging claims.
Mike Lindell has been ordered to fork over $5 million to a cybersecurity expert who proved his election-fraud claims were wrong. "Three judges unanimously decided that we proved to 100% certainty that Mr. Lindell's data was not related to the 2020 election," Glasser explained. He proved the data Lindell LLC provided, and represented reflected information from the November 2020 election, unequivocally did not reflect November 2020 election data," the panel wrote in its ruling. "Failure to pay Mr. Zeidman the $5 million prized was a breach of the contract, entitling him to recover." When asked by Insider on Thursday whether he had the cash to pay Zeidman the $5 million, he called it a "stupid question."
