CAMP HILL, Pa. — Democrats have long tried to oust Rep. Scott Perry, the former head of the far-right Freedom Caucus and a staunch Donald Trump ally, in this Pennsylvania swing district. We need to be educated, we need to be safe, we need to be healthy,” she continued. And, you know, she just rattles it off,” Perry said, referring to the House Democrats’ campaign operation. On immigration, Stelson sounds much like Perry and Trump, calling for more border funding and deporting those who are in the country illegally. That takes more judges, more attorneys, and I think that people who are here illegally need to be sent home, as well."

CNN —Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has become the first rookie in 16 years to be named to the All-WNBA first team. The guard was already named the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year in a near-unanimous vote earlier this month, a fitting title for an astonishing season. Clark also became the first ever rookie to record a triple-double and holds the record for most three-pointers made (122) by a rookie in league history. Las Vegas Aces center A'ja Wilson has also been named in the All-WNBA first team. Las Vegas Aces star Wilson, meanwhile, earned her unanimous place on the first team after a historic season.

Most of the fake electors and election deniers did not respond to CNN’s request for comment. Unrivaled, the new and upcoming pro women's basketball league, signed an exclusive, multiyear media rights deal to air its games on TNT and truTV, as well as streaming platform Max. The heightened interest in the WNBA led to the league's most recent media rights deal being valued at $2.2 billion for 11 seasons, CNBC previously reported. The WNBA's media rights deal is negotiated as part of the NBA's agreement. The media rights deal with Unrivaled gives Turner Sports the opportunity to keep basketball on its air if it is not successful in its lawsuit. Star broadcaster and NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley recently said he wouldn't leave TNT Sports even if the company doesn't have NBA media rights in the future.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The way Leader Hakeem Jeffries sees it, House Democrats haven’t held the majority this Congress — but they’ve governed as if they did. Jeffries is hoping to win back the House majority with twin messages of “people over politics” and a promise to curb the chaos of the House GOP. And while he said that House Democrats will strive to work with “traditional Republican colleagues on any issue, whenever and wherever possible,” he sees Trump as different. What Democrats would doAs speaker, Jeffries would be responsible for setting the House’s agenda for the first time in his career. While Su has previously spoken with Boeing and the striking West Coast factory workers’ union, it is her first time in Seattle meeting both sides in person. Roughly 33,000 workers have been on strike since Sept. 13, seeking a 40% wage increase over four years. Boeing will next month send out 60-day notices to thousands of workers including many in its commercial aviation division, meaning those staff will leave the company in mid-January, one source familiar with the matter said. A Boeing spokesperson said the company had shared information with managers including plans for 10% reductions at its commercial unit involving both union and non-union workers. “Boeing just turned its back on 17,000 of its own workers — the same people who carried Boeing through crisis after crisis, year after year,” he said in a statement.

In a McKinsey survey in February, groceries represented the top category that Gen Z and millennial respondents said they planned to splurge on, outpacing restaurants, travel, and fitness; in 2017, Gen Xers were the top spenders on groceries, followed by boomers. In June, Bank of America reported that its Gen Z customers spent more at premium grocery stores than any other generation. The trend picked up steam with Gen Z. But the surveys also reveal a noticeable gap in support between the pro-abortion rights amendments and the Democratic presidential and Senate candidates who are campaigning on a pro-abortion rights platform. Pro-abortion rights ballot measures won in every state where they appeared on the ballot, including conservative-leaning ones, in the 2022 and 2023 elections. Similarly in Arizona, a proposed amendment to enshrine abortion rights in the state’s constitution has clear majority support. In Montana, there’s little evidence that the presence of an abortion rights amendment has had a major effect on the race between three-term Democratic Sen. Jon Tester and Republican challenger Tim Sheehy. For example, in Missouri, public polling indicates broad support for a constitutional amendment to enshrine abortion rights, while Republican Sen.
