ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The way Leader Hakeem Jeffries sees it, House Democrats haven’t held the majority this Congress — but they’ve governed as if they did. Jeffries is hoping to win back the House majority with twin messages of “people over politics” and a promise to curb the chaos of the House GOP. And while he said that House Democrats will strive to work with “traditional Republican colleagues on any issue, whenever and wherever possible,” he sees Trump as different. Stock futures were calm on Tuesday evening as Wall Street looks to see whether equities can be rebound to record highs this week. Futures tied to the S&P 500 were flat. Nasdaq 100 futures ticked up by less than 0.1%, while Dow Jones Industrial Average futures added just 2 points. The Dow and S&P 500 both slipped from their recent records during Tuesday's regular trading session, falling 0.75% and 0.76%, respectively. His grandparents, Meixiang and Tian Tian, lived at the zoo for 23 years until their lease ended last year. The press release provided by the Swedish prosecutors did not identify any specific individuals. “A new slanderous rumor is starting to set the web ablaze, originating from the Swedish media AFTONBLADET and EXPRESSEN,” Mbappé’s representative told CNN on Tuesday through a public relations firm. Kylian Mbappé will not tolerate under any circumstances that his integrity, reputation and honor be tarnished by unfounded insinuations. She said he went to training on Tuesday and described the Frenchman as being “absolutely calm” despite the accusations. According to AFP, Mbappé traveled to Stockholm last week and spent Thursday and Friday in the Swedish capital.
