Niccol has a "great track record" and is an "outstanding" hire for Starbucks, Edward Jones restaurant analyst Brian Yarbrough told Business Insider. Alongside Curt Garner, the chain's chief information officer who joined in 2015, Niccol helped spearhead Chipotle's digital turnaround.
