Its arrival marks the most significant deployment yet under a new push to have more U.S. nuclear-capable "strategic assets" operate in the area to deter North Korea. North Korea has denounced previous U.S. military deployments and joint drills as rehearsals for war and proof of hostile policies by Washington and Seoul. The visit is the first to South Korea by an American aircraft carrier since 2018.

USS Ronald Reagan will arrive at a naval base in the southern port city of Busan on Friday, South Korea's Navy said in a statement. The visit will be the first to South Korea by an American aircraft carrier since 2018. That year the allies scaled back many of their joint military activities amid diplomatic efforts to engage with North Korea. In April USS Ronald Reagan deployed to the waters between South Korea and Japan for the first time since 2017, and conducted joint drills with Japanese forces.

A statement of intent by China’s booming railway technology industry, the Fuxing trains have been developed from previous generations of high-speed trains, which were based on technology imported from Europe and Japan. The design also forms the basis of the Siemens “Velaro” family of high-speed trains, which has been sold to Spain, Russia, Turkey, China and to Eurostar for its second generation international trains. Europe’s first dedicated high-speed network is still its best known and most successful, reaching out well beyond France’s borders. Frecciarossa services operate across Italy’s T-shaped high-speed network, linking Turin, Milan and Venice in the north with Bologna, Florence, Rome and Naples.

„Cea de-a șasea ediție a Zilelor Filmului Românesc la Chișinău va putea fi urmărită doar pe site-ul www.zfrmd.ro creat anul acesta special reieșind din situația pe care o avem. Dumitru Grosei a relatat printre altele și cum a apărut ideea acestui festival care între timp a devenit un eveniment cinematografic important în RM. La un moment dat discutam despre filmul românesc și că în Basarabia au loc doar niște proiecții sporadice ale acestora. În cadrul celei de-a șasea ediții a ZFR vor fi prezentate unsprezece lungmetraje, atât noi, cât și clasice.
