'Stay away from shorts'There has been a shift in recent years away from strict dress codes, Swann says. On the New York Stock Exchange trading floor, for example, jeans, shorts and other casual wear are still prohibited for personnel and guests. At every job I've had, though, (mainly in media and always based in New York), the dress codes have been way looser. My high school has even adopted a more casual dress code — abandoning the daily tie requirement and allowing sneakers — in recent years. Even if the shorts are dressier or have longer inseams, Swann says they may be perceived as unprofessional in many work environments.

CNN —Reigning champion Italy was knocked out of Euro 2024 in the last 16 after Switzerland produced a stunning upset to win 2-0 on Saturday at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. Swiss supporters didn’t have to wait long after the break for a second goal – only 27 seconds to be exact. Italy’s continued sloppiness on the ball carried over into the second half, immediately giving the ball away from it’s own kickoff. While Switzerland deservedly advanced, it was an uncharacteristically out-of-sorts performance for Italy, who’s defense of its title ends in the first knockout game of the tournament. Italy’s defeat means that the reigning champion has been eliminated in the round of 16 at the last three Euros.

The marks inspired the fish’s name, Myloplus sauron, according to a study published Monday in the journal Neotropical Ichthyology. The confusion around pacusBesides Myloplus sauron, the researchers also discovered the species Myloplus aylan, which they described as having a slightly thicker black bar on its flank. The Myloplus genus falls within the Serrasalmidae fish family, which is made up of piranha and pacu species. Researchers hope to study Myloplus sauron and Myloplus aylan further to learn more about their evolution and relation to other species, Pereira said.
