The auction house on Monday announced its Department X, giving Air Jordans and Supreme skate decks their own category, alongside Impressionist & Modern Art and Old Masters. Current and former Gopuff managers said Amazon's management style didn't fit into the startup. Gopuff started adopting the Amazon playbook of running warehouses beginning last year – and that included grilling managers over why workers were taking bathroom breaks. That contributed to the perpetual problem of deliveries piling up outside warehouses and going to waste, according to three former Gopuff employees.
