New York CNN —Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Chair Martin Gruenberg testified Tuesday that he was unaware of the allegations of widespread sexual harassment and discrimination at the agency detailed in a Wall Street Journal investigation. “I did not know about the individual cases,” Gruenberg told him. Martin Gruenberg, chair of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, told senators on Tuesday he was troubled by the allegations detailed in a Wall Street Journal investigation. The report also referenced a 2019 survey conducted by the inspector general that found 8% of the 2,376 respondents experienced sexual harassment between January 2015 to April 2019. The 2020 inspector general report made 15 recommendations to prevent and address sexual harassment at the agency, which Gruenberg said in his testimony on Tuesday had been implemented but acknowledged “didn’t change the culture” at the FDIC.

☆ Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport: Cambodia’s newest and biggest airport opens to commercial flights

CNN —Cambodia’s newest and biggest airport opened to commercial operations in the province of Siem Reap in the country’s northwest this week. The China-funded Siem Reap-Angkor International Airport is now the main gateway to one of the country’s most popular tourist sites, the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Complex. Using the International Air Transport Association-designated code SAI, it replaces Siem Reap International Airport (REP), which first opened in 1932 and is only a few kilometers away from the Angkor complex. Located in Siem Reap province, the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park is one of Cambodia's most famous sites. The country is on track to receive approximately 4.5 to five million international tourists by the end of this year, says the ministry.

"Beyond Utopia" attracted interest at Sundance from streamers like Amazon's Prime Video and Netflix. Interest peaked four years ago at the Sundance Film Festival, fueled by Amazon and Netflix, which paid a record $10 million for the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doc "Knock Down the House." In the crime realm, WME advised, Netflix was seeking films based on big, well-known cases and scams like "Dahmer" and "Tinder Swindler." Filmmakers point to streamers' self-censorship and 'cold feet' over sensitive topicsSome filmmakers said there are still champions at the streamers for documentaries that push the envelope. "Beyond Utopia" is among a number of recent films that have been snubbed by the big streamers, despite winning awards and buzz.

Ukrainian strikes on the eastern Donetsk region left six people dead and another nine wounded Saturday, said Denis Pushilin, the Russia-backed head of the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic. Ukrainian forces shelled the cities of Donetsk, Svitlodarsk and Horlivka, Pushilin said on Telegram. Several houses and civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged during the strikes, Pushilin added. Remember: The Donetsk People's Republic is a self-declared, Russian-backed separatist region in eastern Ukraine, where fighting has raged since 2014.
