The care is typically provided where the patient lives, whether that’s at a private home or in an assisted living facility. Hospice “is really focused on caring for people — and their caregivers or loved ones — to help them have the best quality of life possible for the time that they have left.”Here’s what hospice care entails and how to decide if and when it’s right for you or your loved one.
