Vice President Kamala Harris told Telemundo on Tuesday that she is a “pragmatic capitalist” who wants to support Latino entrepreneurs, countering former President Donald Trump's attempts to portray her as a Marxist. I am a pragmatic capitalist,” Harris said in the interview at the vice president’s official residence in the Naval Observatory in Washington. Harris also made a direct appeal to Latino men's wallets. “I am very aware how it would affect Latino men,” she said of her economic agenda. “I know that Latino men often have a more difficult time having access to the big loans from the big banks because of relationships, because of things that are not necessarily grounded in their qualifications.

He said a Harris administration "will build on existing programs, increasing federal spending to make health care more affordable for people." Still, Socal said a Trump administration wouldn't have much flexibility to dismantle or scale back the law without change from Congress. The IRA extended enhanced subsidies that made ACA health plans more affordable for millions of households through 2025 — a provision Harris plans to make permanent if elected, her campaign said. A Democratic House or Senate would likely block any of Trump's sweeping changes to Medicaid, according to Altman. CNN —China flew a record number of fighter jets and other warplanes around Taiwan during its large-scale military drills on Monday, the island’s Defense Ministry said. No Chinese warplanes were spotted entering Taiwan’s sovereign airspace, a step that would be considered a major escalation. Buying shares of Nvidia or other semiconductor and Big Tech stocks is just one way to play the artificial intelligence theme. There's a cheaper way to play it, Sean Peche of Ranmore Fund Management told CNBC Pro Talks last week. "Most investors over the last couple of years have thought that the only way to play AI is to own Nvidia and a few of the other peers," the portfolio manager said. AI is going to help these banks, but investors are "not paying for" the AI factor given that these stocks are trading at only six times earnings, he pointed out. Shares of Nvidia are trading at around 57 times earnings.
