I love Facebook Marketplace, except for this one problem with how it does geographic searches. I often see search results that are inconveniently located because they're across a body of water. I probably spend more time browsing Facebook Marketplace than I spend on lots of other interesting and popular things. Facebook Marketplace shows me listings for items located across a body of water — even if the items are within my specified distance radius. Facebook Marketplace will then create a perfect circle of that search radius, giving you as-the-crow-flies distance in every direction.

A passenger plane carrying 67 people crashed in Kazakhstan on Wednesday morning after colliding with birds while traveling from Azerbaijan to Russia, authorities said.
