CNN —Prince Harry and his wife Meghan were involved in a “near catastrophic car chase” involving paparazzi in New York City on Tuesday night, his spokesperson says. The couple were followed by a “swarm” of paparazzi, but there was no car accident, according to a law enforcement source. The incident happened after Harry accompanied Meghan to the Women of Vision Awards, held at the city’s Ziegfeld Ballroom. Paparazzi on the scooters and bikes zoomed down the sidewalk to keep up, the source explains. The late Princess of Wales died in 1997 after suffering internal injuries resulting from a high-speed car crash in Paris.

CNN —Prince Louis, the youngest child of the Prince and Princess of Wales, has undertaken his first royal engagement at the age of five. The Wales family joined the scouts to renovate their scout hut. Prince George, nine, and Princess Charlotte, eight, were seen painting a porch. Prince Louis, dressed in blue shorts and a blue polo shirt, joined his father on a digger and helped fill a wheelbarrow with sand. Prince Louis pushed a loaded wheelbarrow while his mother and sister -- the Princess of Wales and Princess Charlotte -- watched on.

CNN —London’s Metropolitan Police arrested a man outside Buckingham Palace on Tuesday after he allegedly threw suspected shotgun cartridges into the palace grounds, just days before the coronation of King Charles III. Police attended the palace about 7pm local time and arrested the man on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon. The items the man allegedly threw into the palace ground are being analyzed, the statement added. Neither King Charles nor Queen Camilla were at Buckingham Palace during Tuesday’s incident. Police and security services are preparing for the coronation of King Charles on Saturday, attended by heads of state and global dignitaries.

CNN —Meghan, the wife of the UK’s Prince Harry, has hit out at the British media following reports that she sent a letter to her father-in-law, now King Charles, expressing concern over “unconscious bias” within the royal family. According to British media reports, the Duchess of Sussex expressed concern to her father-in-law in the letter about “unconscious bias” inside the royal family. “I said the difference here is the race element,” Harry had said, also slamming racist undertones in tabloid coverage of Meghan, who is biracial. “The thing with unconscious bias – it is actually no one’s fault. King Charles and Queen Camilla will be crowned on May 6 at Westminster Abbey, which will see three days of public celebrations across the country.

CNN —Prince Harry will attend the coronation of King Charles next month, but his wife Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, will remain in the United States with the couple’s children, Buckingham Palace said Wednesday following months of speculation. “Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that The Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on May 6th. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet,” the palace said in a statement. London CNN —Doria Ragland has described how she realized Prince Harry was “the one” for her daughter Meghan in the highly anticipated Netflix documentary series released Thursday. CNN Business —Coins and banknotes featuring King Charles III and Queen Elizabeth II will co-circulate, according to the Royal Mint, the official maker of UK coins. “The first coins bearing the effigy of His Majesty King Charles III will enter circulation in line with demand from banks and post offices. This means the coinage of King Charles III and Queen Elizabeth II will co-circulate in the UK for many years to come,” Anne Jessopp, the Royal Mint Chief Executive Officer, said Tuesday in a press release. The UK maker said that there are approximately 27 billion coins currently circulating in the country “bearing the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. For almost 70 years, Queen Elizabeth II image has appeared on the United Kingdom’s coins, with different portraits of her profile as she aged.
