NEW YORK (Reuters) -Facebook parent company Meta said on Tuesday it had uncovered links between people associated with Chinese law enforcement and a long-running but largely ineffectual operation to positively influence people on social media about China. FILE PHOTO: The logo of Meta Platforms' business group is seen in Brussels, Belgium December 6, 2022. China’s foreign ministry said it was not aware of the findings, but added that individuals and institutions have often launched campaigns against China on social media platforms. Truly identify what lies and rumours are, what is the truth, and effectively eliminate false information related to China,” foreign ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin said when asked about the matter at a news briefing on Wednesday. The “Spamouflage” network first started out posting on large platforms like Facebook, YouTube and Twitter, now called X.

The technology — called Duet AI — will cost just as much as Microsoft's 365 Copilot enhancements, which could become available in the first half of next year. Google began taking preorders for Duet AI for Google Workspace at the $30 per user price in May, but didn't disclose it publicly, Pappu said. In Gmail and Google Docs, users can input a simple text prompt and tell Duet AI to produce a result. One early customer is lingerie brand Adore Me, where employees use Duet AI to prepare copy, a Google spokesperson said. A consumer version of Duet AI for Google Workspace should become available "early next year," Pappu said.

CLAIRE DANES is a bona fide 1990s style icon. But as a teen, I wasn’t buying it. According to an entry in my 9th-grade journal, I found the grungy, oversize tartan flannels she wore as Angela on “My So-Called Life,” the decade’s must-watch high-school drama, to be “totally fake.” I scorned the look’s unearned angst and Danes’s instant fashion-darling status—that is, until she appeared on the Oscars red carpet in 1997. Then 17, the starlet swapped her sloppy, plaid pile-on for a blue, Narciso Rodriguez bias-cut silk skirt and matching cashmere T-shirt.

Samantha then asks to be put on speaker phone to pay her respects to the place. The call ends with Samantha still 3,500 miles away. Throughout the seasons, men and bistros came and went, most often within a single 22-minute episode. Each of the characters had an archetype to inhabit: flighty Carrie, career-minded Miranda, marriage-minded Charlotte, libertine Samantha. Samantha was a caricature of licentiousness, but Cattrall’s enthusiasm for the role — the husky voice, the double-dare-you smile, the symphony of sex noises — made her irreplaceable.

Victoria's Secret launched a new campaign with supermodels Gisele Bündchen, Adriana Lima, and Candice Swanepoel. Their photos in Victoria's Secret catalogs made them household names — the brand even dubbed them "Angels" to further cement their place as modeling royalty. Critics on social media pointed out that the new Victoria's Secret campaign looks eerily similar, even down to the name: It's called "The Icon" while Kardashian's was "Icons." Swanepoel posted about her return to modeling for Victoria's Secret in an Instagram post. "What a wonderful sense of belonging to come home to my VS family for this Iconic campaign!"

CNN —Victoria’s Secret is reuniting some of the most classic supermodels from its heyday, bringing Gisele Bündchen, Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima and Candice Swanepoel together in a new campaign. Bündchen, Lima and Swanepoel were part of the long-running “Angels” brand, which the company retired in 2021 as part of its rebrand. (All three worked as “Angels” for years in campaigns and in the brand’s famed Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show — and all wore the show’s signature “Fantasy Bra” on occasions.) It later launched campaigns featuring ambassadors called the VS Collective, including celebrity reps including soccer star Megan Rapinoe and actor Priyanka Chopra Jonas. The campaign images, a mix of classic black-and-white and color portraits, were taken by Swedish fashion photographer Mikael Jansson.

Natasha Root started Fans Utopia, a site where people can buy adult stars' used items. In 2021, I had a dream that I helped my friend, an ex-porn star, sell her breast implants. So I started researching platforms that sold used items from people in the adult industry. We do everything on behalf of the adult stars since they are often so busy traveling and shooting content for work. The payment split depends on the adult star's agreement with us, but they take between 40% and 60% of the sale.
