Scott Lengel, a former Microsoft CTO, launched an AI-powered RV road trip planner, AdventureGenie. A couple of years later, in May 2023, Lengel launched AdventureGenie — an AI-powered RV trip planner. The biggest thing AI brings to AdventureGenie's trip planning is the customization, Lengel said. Instead of looking up a generic road trip planner that is the first hit served to everyone on Google, AdventureGenie can create itineraries that are unique to you. Lengel said new AdventureGenie users often say it saves them so much time planning their trip just by filling in their route.

Amazon Why we own it : Amazon may be widely known for online shopping, but its cloud business is the real breadwinner. While an International e-commerce sales increase of 10% to $31.94 billion missed estimates, the segment saw $903 million in operating income. Guidance Amazon expects second-quarter net sales to be between $144 billion to $149 billion, growing 7% to 11% year over year. However, thanks to disciplined cost management, operating income guidance is expected to come in much closer to the mark at $10 billion to $14 billion versus $12.73 billion expected. The midpoint of the sales and operating income estimates point to an operating margin target of 8.2%, which compares with an 8.5% estimate for the second quarter.

A few months ago I was helping my mom revisit her homeowners insurance to see if she should add an earthquake insurance policy. Dahl explains that homeowners insurance and earthquake insurance are two completely different policies. The California Earthquake Authority, which provides most of the earthquake insurance policies where I live, has deductibles starting at 5%. So if your home is insured for $500,000 under your earthquake insurance policy, it should also be insured for $500,000 for your homeowners insurance. Earthquake insurance includes some exceptionsWhile earthquake insurance technically includes most damage and destruction to your home in the case of a ground tremor, there are some exceptions, such as a fire.

CNN —An implant for obstructive sleep apnea — a serious sleep malady in which breathing stops for 10 seconds to two minutes many times an hour each night — works best in people who are overweight but not severely obese, a new study found. “There’s a huge unmet need of patients that are suffering with obstructive sleep apnea and not able to tolerate CPAP,” Landsness said. nicolesy/iStockphoto/Getty ImagesAbout a third of patients have difficulty using a CPAP and may ultimately abandon the device, Landsness said. Obstructive sleep apnea is also connected to type 2 diabetes, asthma, obesity, kidney disease, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, thyroid disease and mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety. “As an alternative treatment for sleep apnea, this hypoglossal nerve stimulation surgery could revolutionize some people’s lives,” he said.

The huge rear gate of the Jordanian air force cargo plane slowly lowers like a stiff iron jaw, revealing a hazy blue sky and, far below, the battered landscape of northern Gaza. Inside the plane’s cavernous hold, the aid being delivered by the crew is lined up in neat rows: chest-high bundles of boxes stacked atop wooden pallets, each one bound by shrink-wrap and heavy straps and marked with images of Jordan’s flag. With humanitarian groups and others sounding the alarm over a looming famine in northern Gaza and hunger widespread throughout the territory, airdrops are playing a prominent role in efforts to deliver food, water and urgent supplies to Palestinians. On Thursday, the Jordanian air force allowed a photographer for The New York Times on one of its planes to observe the airdrop of bundles of aid across northern Gaza. The trip, taking off and returning from Jordan’s King Abdullah II air base, east of Amman, took several hours.

Bullish pattern developing However, the ETF deserves our attention from a technical perspective since it could be getting closer to breaking out of a two-year basing pattern. And as the chart shows, this has prompted a second bullish formation to be constructed – a big cup and handle pattern. But a nominee losing to an unworthy rival was also fair game, and readers took both slights to heart.
