The onshore yuan ticked 0.06% higher to 7.1199 per dollar, while its offshore counterpart rose 0.12% to 7.1282. "All of that has played in to a stronger dollar," said Jason Wong, senior strategist at BNZ in Wellington. The New Zealand dollar was similarly eyeing a 0.75% fall for the week and was little changed at $0.6063 in the Asia session.
