Demand for AI agents is giving birth to a new class of startups and VCs hungry to invest in them. It was a topic of conversation at the Evident AI Symposium in New York on Thursday. To take AI agents a step further, technologists and startup investors are fueling a shift to so-called multi-agent systems that coordinate several AI agents to complete more complex tasks more autonomously. Two women allege they were raped inside a tattoo studio, and police say Valdivia may be have additional victims. The woman returned for a second shoot at a nearby hotel and was again sexually assaulted by Valdivia, police said. The FBI Washington Field Office s noaid in a statement the agency is cooperating with Montgomery police in their investigation of Valdivia. Valdivia told the man, “Watch your mouth,” and the man turned around and approached Valdivia, who told him to back up multiple times prior to the shooting.

The drug, MariTide, also helped patients with obesity and Type 2 diabetes lose up to 17% of their weight after a year. The company said it did not observe a plateau in either group of patients, which indicates the potential for further weight loss beyond 52 weeks. That could boost Amgen's odds of winning a slice of the weight loss drug market, which some analysts forecast could be worth $150 billion a year by the early 2030s.
