In a 2012 episode of "Kitchen Nightmares" Gordon Ramsay called a grilled lettuce dish "hideous." Ramsay later incorporated grilled romaine lettuce in a menu for a NASCAR event, Fox Sports reported. A viewer who spotted it called Ramsay out and suggested he should apologize. In the clip, Ramsay seemed astonished to find grilled caesar salad on the menu, and asked a server if it was a misprint. In his video, Doty pointed to this part of the menu, and called on Ramsay to apologize to the chef he had previously ridiculed for grilling lettuce.

Stellantis will lift its 2030 revenue target for its recycling and reconditioning unit after its revenue grew 25% so far this year, the automaker's CEO said on Thursday, adding that the business would help make electric vehicles more affordable. Rising prices and reduced availability of raw materials, as well as environmental costs to extract them, are pushing manufacturers and regulators to reuse and recycle more. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares said volatility in raw materials prices made electric vehicles (EV) less affordable for consumers. Although “The Buccaneers” comes with the literary pedigree of being based on Edith Wharton’s last, unfinished novel, the series so desperately wants to emulate “Bridgerton” that it almost makes your teeth ache, down to the mix of corsets and contemporary music. The result is a mildly watchable Apple TV+ series that proves, to quote Fred Allen, imitation is the sincerest form of streaming, too. Even so, everything feels a little too familiar, including the series’ hissable villain, hidden beneath a polished and presentable veneer. Consumed entirely on its terms, “The Buccaneers” works reasonably well as a soapy distraction for those willing to check their brains at the ballroom door. “The Buccaneers” premieres November 8 on Apple TV+.

(AP) — Ross Chastain, the runner-up in NASCAR's championship last season, crashed out of Sunday's playoff race at Talladega Superspeedway in a collision with fellow title contenders Kyle Busch and Christopher Bell. Chastain was in a pack of cars racing to the flag that marked the end of the first stage. Busch hit the wall trying to avoid running into the back of Stenhouse, just as Chastain tried to slide through the middle to advance his position. Some car companies think that fake engine noises will get drivers to consider going electric. Hyundai and Dodge have both unveiled EVs that blast fake exhaust noises outside the car. Electric cars are inherently quiet. Last year, the brand showed off an electric concept car with a multi-speed transmission and a phony exhaust sound that mimics a supercharged V8 engine. "Automakers are responding to some enthusiasts' worries that electric cars have no soul," Ed Kim, president and chief analyst at AutoPacific, an automotive research and consulting firm, told Insider.
