Clark’s golf balls had 22 emblazoned on them – her now famous jersey number. While the pair played nine holes together, Clark said she was unable to soak up any of Korda’s golfing skills. “I’ve watched and she’s been amazing but golf’s hard, hard to replicate that fast but she’s been incredible,” Clark told the broadcast. Definitely a fun morning.”While Clark has been working on her golf game in the offseason, her attention will soon be back on basketball. Amazon has discontinued a secretive effort to develop an at-home fertility tracker, according to internal documents and people familiar with the matter. The team sat within Amazon's Grand Challenge, also known as its Special Projects division, the sources said. In October, Amazon told people working on the tracker that it was disbanding the team. Other Grand Challenge projects, including the Amazon Care telehealth service, a video-calling device for kids, a virtual tours service, and an augmented reality headset for meetings, were discontinued. On the morning of Oct. 28, employees working on the fertility tracker were told to join a videoconference where a director of the team informed them that the project was ending.

On Thursday, Steve Madden pledged to reduce its Chinese imports by 45% over the next year in anticipation of Trump’s tariff plans. There’s got to be some way to help companies like that,” Sorini of Sorini, Samet & Associates told CNBC.

Whereas cases of the STI in newborns increased by 30% annually in recent years — greatly alarming public health experts — the upward trend has decelerated. San Francisco’s Public Health Department was the first to recommend doxyPEP for gay and bisexual men and trans women, in October 2022. That helped trigger a long decline in condom use among gay and bisexual men in particular. The protocol, called doxyPrEP, demonstrated generally comparable efficacy at preventing STIs compared with doxyPEP studies among gay men. Public health experts have attributed this century’s surge in STIs, at least in part, to a steady defunding of state and local public-health clinics.

Wall Street, which has been on a tear since Trump’s decisive victory last week, appears to be ready to turn the page on the Khan era. Similarly, the FTC has gone after Big Tech, Big Pharma and even Big Mattress in the name of keeping competition robust. CNN —Israel’s far-right finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, has ordered preparations for the annexation of settlements in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. President-elect Donald Trump’s victory in the US election “brings an important opportunity for the State of Israel,” Smotrich told the Knesset, or Israeli parliament. The “only way to remove” the “threat” of a Palestinian state, Smotrich added, “is to apply Israeli sovereignty over the entire settlements in Judea and Samaria,” the biblical term by which Israelis refer to the West Bank. Around half a million Israelis live in West Bank settlements. Smotrich, himself a settler, has long called for Israeli law to apply in the settlements, and previously opposed the creation of an independent Palestinian state.

The estate of collapsed crypto exchange FTX has filed a suit against Binance and its former CEO Changpeng Zhao in an effort to wrest back at least $1.76 billion, citing a "fraudulent" share deal. The FTX estate alleges that the share repurchase was funded by FTX's Alameda Research division through a combination of the company's and Binance's exchange tokens, as well as Binance's dollar-pegged stablecoin. Binance denies the allegations, saying in an emailed statement: "The claims are meritless, and we will vigorously defend ourselves." That same month, Binance's Zhao pleaded guilty to charges of violating the Bank Secrecy Act for failing to put in motion an effective anti-money laundering program and for breaching U.S. economic sanctions. In another post cited, he said: "As part of Binance's exit from FTX equity last year, Binance received roughly $2.1 billion USD equivalent in cash (BUSD and FTT).

And in his first game, Rizzi led New Orleans to a 20-17 win, snapping a seven-game losing streak. A Federal Emergency Management Agency employee was fired after recently advising a disaster relief team to not visit homes with yard signs that support President-elect Donald Trump. FEMA did not clarify where the incident happened, or when, and the employee has not been identified. But in a statement on Saturday, FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell called the incident "reprehensible." Ron DeSantis said he directed the state's Division of Emergency Management to launch an investigation into "the federal government’s targeted discrimination of Floridians who support Donald Trump."
