Four Seasons Hotel & Resorts is set to turn Caye Chapel – a private island off the coast of Belize, in Central America – into a luxury club community with residences, estates, a five-star hotel and a championship golf course. Included is access to a beachfront championship golf course designed by former world No. A nearby practice range can be converted to a par-three golf course in afternoons and evenings. Twice this year, US forces in the region have assisted Israel in intercepting an attack by Iran. CNN —Archaeologists in Denmark have unearthed more than 50 “exceptionally well preserved” skeletons in a large Viking-era burial ground in the east of the country. The skeletons were buried alongside artifacts from far beyond Denmark’s borders, suggesting Vikings traveled extensively for trade, according to the team from the museum. The conditions at the site are what helped keep the skeletons in such good shape, he said. “We had no clue that there was going to be a burial ground with Viking skeletons there,” Lundø said. The boxes can reproduce pre-recorded video as well as a live feed, and any 4K camera, including an iPhone, can be used as the source. In 2023, video of actor William Shatner was beamed from Los Angeles to the Advertising Week APAC event in Sydney, Australia. Now, Holmes’ works have been brought together in a book — “Gas Tank City” (Circa Press) — alongside a show of the same name at London’s Architectural Association (AA). The drawings that make up the "Gas Tank City" book and exhibition celebrate every inch of the classic American truck, particularly the iconic Kenworth model. While the words “hyperreal” and “photorealistic” are used to describe his work, Holmes points out that the drawings are “completely unlike” photographic images. London CNN —Scientists in the United Kingdom have stored the entire human genome on a “5D memory crystal,” in the hope that it could be used in the future as a blueprint to bring humanity back from extinction. The crystal is stored in the Memory of Mankind archive in Hallstatt, Austria. “The visual key inscribed on the crystal gives the finder knowledge of what data is stored inside and how it could be used,” said Kazansky. In 2018, Kazansky and his team used the memory crystal technology to store Isaac Asimov’s “Foundation” trilogy of science fiction books, which were then launched into space aboard a Tesla Roadster. The technology has also been used to store major documents from human history, including the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Magna Carta.
