☆ ‘Cosmology’: The Japanese skincare range designed for astronauts

CNN —When Japanese astronaut Kimiya Yui heads to the International Space Station (ISS) next year, he will have two new skincare items in his bag that are especially designed for the rigors of space travel. The face wash and lotion are part of a “Cosmology” line unveiled on Monday by Japanese cosmetic company POLA and ANA Holdings, the parent company of All Nippon Airways. The products were created after the Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) called for skincare solutions that could be used in the resource-scarce, low-gravity and extremely dry conditions of outer space. The products are not the first cosmetics to head to outer space. Japanese astronaut Kimiya Yui will bring the Cosmology skincare products to the International Space Station in 2024.

Horton (DHI.N), Lennar (LEN.N) and NVR (NVR.N), just as mortgage rates hit the highest level in nearly 23 years. That’s 3% less than last year, and 7% less than the average used-home price today. Horton, NVR and Lennar on Aug. 14. NEW YORK, July 12 (Reuters Breakingviews) - Domino’s Pizza (DPZ.N) wants to stuff more pie holes. The pizza chain announced on Wednesday that customers will be able to make delivery orders through Uber Eats, sending Domino’s shares up 10% in late morning trade. At first blush that may seem an admission that Domino’s own delivery app is sputtering. The agreement with Uber Technologies (UBER.N) is exclusive in the United States at least until 2024, and it extends Domino’s reach internationally as well. By partnering with Uber, Domino’s has a better chance of getting a bigger slice of the delivery market.

Hong Kong, despite its urban sprawl and concrete veneer, is a stronghold for several endangered species, including Chinese pangolins, Hong Kong groupers, and the black-faced spoonbill.
