The seats in Broadway theaters have been about 88%-occupied in the past year, compared with nearly 91% in the year before the pandemic, according to the Broadway League, the industry trade group.
New York City’s tourism group said about 56 million travelers visited the city last year, compared with more than 66 million visitors in 2019. International tourism, at 8.9 million visitors, was about one-third lower.
