London CNN —Spanish artist Almudena Romero is known for creating artworks that use plants as her medium. Almudena Romero “The Pigment Change” series has a chapter called “Family Album,” in which Romero projects a negative onto live watercress, using the plants’ natural photosynthesis to create areas of light and dark. Almudena Romero This artwork, which was exhibited this year on International Women’s Day, is a tribute to a childhood friend. Almudena Romero Romero questions the long-term future of conventional photographic film, when the materials needed to produce it are limited. Mr. Trump has supercharged the Republican National Committee since he became the party’s presumptive nominee in the spring. The R.N.C., which had as little as $9 million in cash on hand at end of January, ended June with $102 million in its coffers, nearly double the $54 million it had at the end of May. The committee’s cash increase is primarily a downstream effect of an enormous spike in small-dollar fund-raising after Mr. Trump’s conviction, according to filings from campaign committees and data released earlier this week from the Republican fund-raising processing firm WinRed. Mr. Trump and allied Republican groups raised roughly $69 million from May 30 — the day of his conviction — to May 31. The $34.5 million or so raised on each of those days more than doubled the record for the best online fund-raising day of the entire campaign by either party.

Pfizer on Thursday said it will move forward with a once-daily version of its weight loss pill, danuglipron, after it saw "encouraging" data in an ongoing early-stage trial. Pfizer is one of several drugmakers racing to win a slice of the market for a highly popular class of weight loss and diabetes drugs called GLP-1 agonists. At the time, the pharmaceutical giant said phase one trial data on the once-daily version would "inform a path forward." Pfizer's danuglipron is a GLP-1 that promotes weight loss in the same way as Novo Nordisk' s injection Wegovy and diabetes treatment Ozempic. Under the long-standing law, companies can face ruinous penalties for price discrimination only if they're discriminating against other businesses. Tyler Le/BII say low-grade shock because at the time personalized pricing discrimination was far less widespread and harmful than it is today. And many of those that don't disclose using personalized pricing still do it. AI pricing also means that those who are the most desperate and most vulnerable will often pay the most. So much of AI pricing acts as a regressive tax, charging those with the most the least.
