“Given that sleep is highly visible as a risk factor, non-stigmatizing, and highly treatable … we suggest study of sleep as a risk factor and critical intervention target for youth suicide,” said senior study author Dr. Rebecca Bernert, a suicidologist and founder of the Stanford Suicide Prevention Research Laboratory in California, via email. Suicide is a leading cause of death among children ages 10 to 14, a group that also has high rates of sleep disturbance, according to the study. And sleep disturbances “have emerged as an evidence-based risk factor for suicidal behaviors” among adults, regardless of whether a person has depressive symptoms, the authors said. At that time, guardians answered questionnaires about their child’s sleep health, which included factors such as problems with falling or staying asleep, waking up, excessive sleepiness, sleep-disorder breathing, excessive sweating during sleep, and behaviors that occur when someone partially awakes from deep sleep. Supporting your child’s healthAt all ages, your kids need good nighttime habits that support healthy sleep, Willard said.

Thanks to a special Texas law, the two astronauts will still be able to perform their civic duty, voting absentee from low-Earth orbit. Since then, multiple astronauts have cast ballots from space, including now-retired NASA astronaut Leroy Chiao in 2004. Like most US astronauts, Wilmore and Williams live near NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Texas’ Harris County, where election officials confirmed to CNN that they are working with the space agency to send the astronauts their ballots on Saturday. “Before sending the astronauts their ballot, a test ballot with a unique password is sent first,” said Rosio Torres-Segura, a spokesperson for the Harris County clerk. Once the astronauts vote their live ballot, it is returned, printed, and processed with other ballots.”Wilmore and Williams’ ballots will arrive on Earth about five months before they do.

After DWAC merged with Trump Media, those Class B shares were supposed to automatically convert to Class A stock at a 1:1 ratio. Analysts have come to see indivual investments in Trump Media as a proxy for supporting the Republican presidential nominee and betting on his political fortunes. After a summer of turmoil, Boeing’s Starliner spacecraft is finally home. The capsule undocked from the International Space Station without astronauts onboard on Friday at 6:04 p.m. Its smooth journey back suggests that the two NASA astronauts it carried to the space station could probably have flown home safely on the spacecraft. But the Starliner then remained parked at the space station for months as engineers on the ground assessed how to safely bring it back to Earth. Wilmore and Williams will remain on the space station into the new year then fly back in February on a SpaceX capsule.

Just as importantly, it’s also sent a political message to Kyiv’s allies that has changed the prevailing narrative of the war - that Ukrainian forces are doomed to fight an endless rearguard action against superior Russian firepower.
