But some say there are other bias issues on Airbnb’s platform that still need to be addressed. Airbnb defined its booking success rates as a measure of how often people from different perceived racial backgrounds can successfully reserve an Airbnb listing where the host must confirm the booking. The audit sampled 750,000 random reservation requests and found that Black travelers had a 91.4% booking success rate compared to 93.4% for Latinos and 94.1% for Whites.

It is the third suit she has filed in six weeks alleging financial fraud and abuse of nursing home residents. One of the previous lawsuits targeted Fulton Commons Nursing Home in East Meadows, N.Y. A multi-day severe storm threat begins Monday for parts of the South and southern central US. A slight threat for severe weather has been issued for parts of western and central Kansas and Oklahoma into northwestern Texas. "Our investigation has shown that the victim was an Uber driver providing a ride to Jacobs from a location in New Orleans to the hotel," the sheriff's office said in a statement. "When the ride ended, Jacobs stabbed her repeatedly before leaving the vehicle."
