LONDON — Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby, the spiritual leader of the global Anglican church, resigned Tuesday after an investigation found that he failed to promptly report serial physical and sexual abuse by a volunteer at Christian summer camps. Welby said in a statement that he was stepping down "in sorrow" and "having sought the gracious permission of His Majesty The King." In his resignation letter, Welby acknowledged “personal and institutional responsibility” for “wrongly” believing that there wasn’t a need to make a formal report to police on the case in 2013. CNN —White sand beaches, Atlantic Ocean views and a whole lot of skin — this is the 2025 Pirelli Calendar. For the latest edition, New York-based photographer Ethan James Green turns his lens on Hunter Schafer, John Boyega and Simone Ashley, along with model and illustrator Connie Fleming, artist Martine Gutierrez and model Jenny Shimizu, among others. Ethan James GreenModel and actor Hoyeon Jung struck a delicate pose in a flowing sheer outfit. Ethan James GreenIn the calendar, Green pulls double duty as a model, too, making it the third time a calendar photographer has appeared in the cast. Ethan James GreenCollaboration was key to the 2025 calendar, Green said.
