Two young boys have died in separate tractor accidents at Halloween hayrides in Tennessee and Minnesota, local officials said. In Minnesota, 13-year-old Alexander Mick, of Rice, died Saturday after he was run over by a tractor-pulled trolley wagon, the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. The sheriff’s office received a call around 7:30 p.m. about a young male injured after he was run over at the annual Harvest of Horror Haunted Hayride in the city of St. Augusta. The sheriff’s office did not identify the child, but the Hamilton County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as 12-year-old Samuel Jessen, NBC affiliate WSMV of Nashville reported. A Hamilton College student has been charged with posting antisemitic remarks on campus, authorities said Monday. New York State Police’s Bureau of Criminal Investigation responded to the private college located in upstate New York on Friday after receiving “a report of antisemitic remarks being posted on art canvases on campus,” police said in a news release. Brenden was located in his dorm room on Saturday and agreed to speak with state police during which he “ultimately admitted to posting the remarks,” officials said. Authorities said Hamilton College has suspended Brenden from campus pending a hearing for his dismissal from the school. Officials said “there remains no threat against students or faculty at Hamilton College.”NBC News has reached out to state police and Hamilton College for further comment.

Philip Esformes, whose 20-year prison sentence for a massive, $1.3 billion Medicare fraud scheme was commuted in 2020 by then-President Donald Trump, was arrested over the weekend in Florida on domestic-violence related charges.
