Read previewA busy office worker said he transformed his physique in four months thanks to an efficient workout plan. AdvertisementIn theory, researchers and trainers say, the combos allow one muscle group to rest while you're working a different muscle group with another exercise, tapping into the benefits of rest without added time. A superset involves performing exercises back-to-back without a break, and can save time by allowing one muscle group to rest while another is working. Using supersets, you can create a full-body plan, and work out harder, because you're not exhausting any one muscle group. Doing a few sets per muscle group more frequently allowed him to make each set count by adding more weight and pushing himself harder, he said.

CNN —Jared Holz thought about taking one of the new GLP-1 drugs for weight loss for months before he actually filled the prescription. At least a dozen similar experimental weight-loss drugs designed to be taken as pills are working their way through clinical trials, with the most advanced now in the third and final stage of testing. Dushay cited hopes that pill versions of GLP-1 drugs could ease shortages, come at lower cost and enhance convenience. The oral GLP-1 raceRight on the heels of oral semaglutide is a group of drugs led by Eli Lilly’s orforglipron, an oral medication that also targets GLP-1, which is a hormone implicated in insulin regulation, appetite and digestion. Drugmakers including Pfizer and Roche, as well as smaller companies like Structure Therapeutics, Terns Pharmaceuticals and Viking Therapeutics, also have oral weight-loss drugs in earlier stages of development, BMO research shows.

New York CNN —So far, the attacks that targeted Iran-backed Lebanese militant group Hezbollah members through their pagers have had devastating consequences. Justin Cappos, a cybersecurity professor at NYU, said that it’s possible to cause damage to a variety of batteries – most commonly lithium batteries, which have caused dangerous fires. If correct, this would suggest a very high penetration of Hezbollah’s supply chain for those devices,” Horowitz said over email. When it comes to battery safety, the National Fire Protection Association has a set of safety guidelines for lithium batteries, such as properly disposing of them. A Lebanese security source told CNN that Hezbollah had recently purchased the devices.

"Allies have long warned of the risk that Russian spy ships and sabotage vessels patrolling subsea cable routes could pose to critical underwater infrastructure." Known by its Russian acronym, GUGI, the unit's goal is to surveil and possibly destroy the undersea cables the West relies on for the internet. But as the world has become more dependent on internet data, the potential for disruption caused by sabotage has become greater. Mistake 1: Taking photos at the wrong timeJon Carmichael captured the moon during a lunar eclipse. The silver lining is you can get better detail because you're shooting through less atmosphere and the photos will be clearer. Taking photos closer to sunset gives you more lighting compared to later at night, which will make taking a cellphone picture easier. CNBC's Jim Cramer on Tuesday pinpointed why he thinks artificial intelligence is useful across the business world, saying its value stems from customer service potential across industries. Cramer gave examples of how AI customer service capabilities could change workflows in several fields, including retail, food service, law and health care. He suggested AI agents could answer patients' questions and free up doctors' time to engage in other pursuits. "AI makes things go faster — everything. It makes things more rational — everything," he said.

Trump won the presidency in 2016 by stunning Democrat Hillary Clinton to win all three states by a combined margin of about 80,000 votes. But, as in other states, Democrats have been concerned about the risk of depressed turnout and some gains for Trump among Black voters in Philadelphia. Eight years later, the two states split again, when Roosevelt comfortably won Pennsylvania and Michigan narrowly went to Republican Wendell Willkie. This trio of states has arguably become the most consistent tipping point in American politics. In the nine elections since 1920 when they split their vote, the candidate who carried two of these three states won seven times.

Washington CNN —Joe Biden’s national security advisers have no imminent plans to present the president with an updated proposal in the Israel-Hamas war ceasefire negotiations, two senior administration officials told CNN – the latest indication that talks to end the conflict have seriously stalled. Some US officials had indicated in recent weeks that a so-called bridging proposal was being finalized for Biden’s approval before being shared with the other mediators involved in the ceasefire talks, such as Qatar and Egypt. The recent execution of six hostages in Gaza – including one Israeli American – infuriated administration officials who have been intimately involved in the talks. Meanwhile, there has also been growing skepticism in Washington about Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s political willingness to end the war. Facilitating an end to the Israel-Hamas war before he leaves office is one of the most important foreign policy priorities for Biden.
