Trump has long been known for the brash, even vulgar way he sometimes speaks about women. “President Trump championed my journey, empowering me to be who I became today,” Habba said. “The media’s negative portrayal of President Trump and his treatment of women is entirely false,” Karoline Leavitt, the Trump campaign’s national press secretary, said in a statement. “Every attack on President Trump only strengthens our movement,” said Habba, who represented Trump in the Carroll defamation suit. “Sham indictments and baseless allegations will not deter us, because the only crime President Trump has committed is loving America.”

My household was conservative and I tend to vote Republican, but I never stick to the party for the sake of consistency. I've seen the state change politically, watching it go from blue to red as I went from childhood, to adulthood, to old age. President Biden was, quite frankly, too old four years ago, and he'll certainly be too old four years from now. As far as my dad was concerned, anyone beyond Medicare age, which Biden and Trump have long surpassed, should be passing the torch. I've been thinking about politics longer than both Biden and Trump; I've got them beat by one and four years respectively.

I knew my future parenting style would incorporate more authoritarian discipline, which has proven to be the best thing for my 5-year-old son and 8-year-old daughter. AdvertisementOur parenting style encourages emotional stability while equally enacting the consequences that help our children grow into better versions of themselves. AdvertisementWhat our parenting style looks like in actionI keep these values in mind during moments like yesterday. My husband and I had to enforce our authoritarian parenting style in the grocery store, even though we were rushing to get home. While I put the box back, my husband told him it wasn't on our list.

The results kind of surprised me, but I'm glad I know how to make the best frozen lasagna. The oven is still my go-to method, but I'd use my air fryer again. I wanted the air fryer to be my favorite, largely because it's the quickest method. The toaster oven was also a fine cooking method, but I don't see why I'd use it instead of my standard oven. Overall, the biggest lesson I learned is that there are no circumstances where you should ever microwave a frozen lasagna.

The other shows the bride who bought the dress from me four years later, wearing it on her wedding day. But when I fell in love in my late 20s, and got engaged two years later, those dreams faded during our wedding planning process. Ultimately, our relationship ended a month before the wedding — influenced by the stress and family tensions, though not solely because of them. Li, 27, is part of a growing base of Chinese workers swapping high-pressure office jobs for flexible blue-collar work. But these firms are slowly losing their appeal as China’s economy faces headwinds including a property crisis, declining foreign investment and slumping consumption. The trend to move from professional to manual jobs comes amid surging demand for blue-collar workers, according to Chinese recruitment platform Zhaopin. And blue-collar workers’ pay has also gone up, attracting more people to jobs they might have previously avoided. Pressure of another kindBut some wonder if blue-collar work is truly the stress-free refuge people like Li and Wang imagine it to be.

Read previewEight years ago I moved to New York City from Boston, and it was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. The size of the room was huge, especially after I had heard horror stories of tiny New York City apartments, the only catch was that the room I would be in was way above my budget. Finally, last December — after eight years of living and financially struggling in New York City — I told my mom I was over $50,000 in credit card debt and didn't know what to do. Some of them are earnest sites that want to help, and some are predatory debt consolidation or debt settlement companies. It was clear that these companies were preying on people's shame — shame that I undeniably feel for racking up so much debt.

I first learned of the Swype vape on social media, where a few doctored images of its screen had gone viral. (Samatha Cole of 404 Media also tried out the Swype vape; we didn't plan this. Rucking appealed to me because it seemed like a simple way to make my daily lunchtime walks more efficient. That said, it doesn't look like a normal backpack, so I did get a few strange looks as I strolled around the rural village where I live on a weekday lunchtime. It felt very different from carrying a normal backpack, too, likely due to the weight and its positioning. AdvertisementI also learned that the ruck isn't something I will just always throw on when going for my daily walk. It ended up being a great workout, and definitely left me with aching muscles the next day.

I asked a financial planner whether I should take money out of savings if interest rates drop. I haven't felt ready to follow their advice, especially since my high-yield savings account at Ally Bank has been offering 4% to 5% APY on the money in the account. If that happens, it might make sense for me to move money out of my high-yield savings account. I met with certified financial planner Jake Skelhorn, who shared three things I can do with that cash if interest rates drop. "While more volatile year-to-year, stock market returns have averaged approximately 10%, which is about double what you're getting in a high-yield savings account today."

Here’s what to know if you’re planning to travel this weekend. David J. Phillip/APUS-based carriers American Airlines, United Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Allegiant Airlines, SunCountry and Frontier Airlines all reported issues on Friday. Crews have limits on their working hours, so staffing challenges cascade along with flight delays. That all depends on the type of ticket you have, the airline you’re flying with and whether you have travel insurance (which is always a good idea). If you’re set to travel soon, wherever you are in the world, it’s worth double checking your individual journey status before you travel.
