In the comment posted on Monday, the company said it also removed the Bad Boy Entertainment Artist Series, a line of classes and workouts using music from a record label founded by Combs, on its platform. “This means our Instructors are no longer using his music in any newly produced classes,” Peloton said in the post. CNN —Rudy Giuliani has agreed to never again publicly accuse two Georgia election workers of tampering with votes in the 2020 election, a false accusation that he has repeated frequently and that led to his bankruptcy. With the agreement, Giuliani is forfeiting a yearslong verbal and legal battle he’s waged with the election workers, Ruby Freeman and her daughter, Shaye Moss. “Today ends his efforts to profit off of lies about these two heroes of American democracy,” the workers’ attorney Michael Gottlieb said in a statement. The trial provided a searing glimpse into the harassment election workers suffered while prominent Trump supporters spread lies about the 2020 election. Giuliani is also in Chapter 11 personal bankruptcy, with Freeman, Moss and others pursuing everything he has of value.

McKinney “felt confused but hopeful that Combs would fulfill his promises to help her career,” and Combs invited her to his recording studio later that night, the complaint continues. In the bathroom, Combs “began kissing her without her consent” and later “forced her to perform oral sex on him,” according to the complaint. “As her consciousness returned, Plaintiff realized that she had been sexually assaulted by Combs,” the complaint reads. CNN —A 70-year-old man was killed by a cow moose after he tried to take photos of the animal and its newborn calves near his home in southern Alaska on Sunday, authorities said. The man, Dale Chorman, was with a friend when the pair spotted a female moose and her two newborn calves in the city of Homer, the Alaska Department of Public Safety said. “Dale was with another adult male and they were attempting to take photos of two newborn moose calves when the cow moose attacked Dale,” agency spokesperson Austin McDaniel told CNN in an email Tuesday. While in the company of her calves, a female moose will not hesitate to attack should a person come near them, McDaniel said. “Cow moose with calves are known to be relentless in their efforts to defend their calves from perceived threats,” McDaniel said.

CNN —Rescuers are searching for two people in northern Minnesota who went missing after going over Curtain Falls in canoes, according to authorities. The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to Iron Lake near the border of Canada at 7:21 p.m. Saturday, according to a news release. Two canoes had gone over Curtain Falls in the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, the sheriff’s office said. Shortly after midnight, a helicopter was used to rescue one injured person and one uninjured person, according to the sheriff’s office. CNN —A Pennsylvania man was indicted by a federal grand jury for allegedly threatening to kill President Joe Biden and his Cabinet in a video posted online. Jordan Gee, 37, of Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, was charged with three felony counts of threats against the president and one count of interstate threats, according to the Justice Department. Prosecutors allege that Gee posted several videos online following Biden’s visit to Scranton, Pennsylvania, in April for a campaign event. His arraignment is set for May 29 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Threats against elected officials have been a top concern for US security officials as the 2024 general election approaches.

Washington CNN —President Joe Biden’s national security adviser Jake Sullivan convened for the first time this week an in-person meeting of ambassadors and chiefs of mission representing countries whose citizens were taken hostage by Hamas on October 7, CNN has learned, as a ceasefire and hostages release deal remains stalled. Those 17 countries, along with the United States, have citizens whom Hamas took captive at the outbreak of the Israel-Hamas war.
