univ., dr., șef Departament Alimentație și Nutriție, Facultatea Tehnologia Alimentelor, și Nicolae LUCA, conf. În cadrul somelieriei se studiază ceea ce ține de profesia de somelier, de funcțiile de somelier și menirea acestuia. A fi somelier presupune o învățare continuă și nu înseamnă doar să încurajezi consumul de vinuri, ci și să promovezi cultura vinului. După ce meseria de somelier a fost recunoscută legal și inclusă în nomenclatorul profesiilor în Republica Moldova numărul deținătorilor Diplomei de Somelier European a crescut la câteva sute în ultimii ani.
