There are many benefits to using ChatGPT on your resume: It can help with grammar and spelling. And if you're starting from scratch, it can be a good way to get a first draft of your resume going. Still, there's one major problem with using it: You never know if what it spits out after a prompt is going to be true. "It is going to hallucinate information and it is going to take leaps of faith," she says. "The more blanks you fill for it," she says, "the less likely it's going to give you inaccurate information."

Paris CNN —King Charles and Queen Camilla have just wrapped up their long-awaited state visit to France, spending their final day in the southwest of the country. The royal trip to France has been seen by many as a continuation of the two neighbors' efforts to reset relations in a post-Brexit world. French President Emmanuel Macron rolled out the red carpet for King Charles III. Another element that looks likely to become a staple of state visits from King Charles is the focus on green issues. Throughout the trip, French news broadcasters went into daily special programming, with their commentators dissecting every move in their hours-long coverage.

‘My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3’ Review: N’opa!
  + stars: | 2023-09-07 | by ( Amy Nicholson | ) www.nytimes.com   time to read: +1 min
The story starts after the passing of Toula’s father, Gus, the patriarch played with grumbling affection by Michael Constantine, who died in 2021. Only six people remain in the village, and two of them are secretly dating — the series’s core trope remains a hushed romance. The oddest disposable gag comes when Toula blurts her sexual attraction to a mustachioed stranger (Alexis Georgoulis). The ancient Greeks wrote tragedy after tragedy warning against hubris. My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3Rated PG-13 for a suggestive scene on a nude beach with strategically placed slices of watermelon.

“We were very fully making a ’70s movie,” Payne says, recently speaking by phone from his desk in Omaha, Nebraska. Payne, 62, shot “The Holdovers,” set at a New England boarding school, largely with filmmaking equipment and camera lenses from that period. “We were trying to play the exercise of: We are in 1970 making this movie,” he says. I told (screenwriter) David Hemingson: ‘We’re writing for Paul Giamatti. But as long-term and ’70s-oriented as making “The Holdovers” was, it struck Payne as a contemporary story, too.

This week, a reader's roommate lost her job and can't pay her half of the rent. Honestly, I can probably cover this month, but it will be a squeeze, and I certainly can't cover her half the rent indefinitely. In other words, if your roommate doesn't have the money, she doesn't have it. From the sound of your letter, it seems that up until your roommate lost her job, she paid their share of the rent reliably. Whether you cover the full rent this month or not, you need to have that conversation with your roommate ASAP.

'Jurassic Park' still has bite at 30, and here's why

CNN —It’s been 30 years since Steven Spielberg’s dinosaurs stampeded across the screen in the first “Jurassic Park,” but it feels more recent. Admittedly, I was the exact target audience for this creature feature, and even though I was already somewhat of a self-taught critic (note the aforementioned mouthiness), I was awed by what I saw that summer three decades ago, and my impressions of “Jurassic Park” remain to this day. Despite my awareness of this, I still didn't know how to say no, so I kept saying yes. It's critical to find "no" phrasing you're comfortable with so you actually feel comfortable saying it when necessary. For example, if your boss asks you to take on a new project, can you really just say "no" and walk away? While you don't need to explain the details of your current workload when you initially say no, be clear on them yourself. Saying no — frequently — is critical to creating boundaries around your time so you can show up strong at work and live a life you're excited about.
The price of being a people-pleaser can be steep — especially for your mental health. People-pleasers are especially prone to burnout at work, says Debbie Sorensen, a Harvard-trained clinical psychologist based in Denver. "They tend to be very kind, thoughtful people, which it makes it that much harder for them to set boundaries, not take on too much work or get emotionally invested in their jobs," says Sorensen. And being a constant yes-person is a double-edged sword: You might feel guilty telling others "no," and resentment every time you say "yes." The difference, Sorensen explains, is that people-pleasers tend to have difficulty setting boundaries, which can be "really exhausting" and lead to "chronic stress," she warns.

Nearly 60% of employees report experiencing at least "moderate" burnout, according to a 2022 Aflac Workforces Report. One way to alleviate some of that pressure is to stop obliging co-workers who are always soliciting help. If you're a people pleaser, the idea of saying "no" when someone asks you for a favor is probably horrifying. "The challenge with saying 'no' is it can be received personally," says Brandon Smith, a therapist and career coach known as The Workplace Therapist. Here's how to say "no" in a polite way when a colleague asks you for help.
Summer movie preview 2023

CNN —Most moviegoers can pinpoint one summer movie – or perhaps, a summer of movies – in their formative years that really and truly cemented their love for going to the cinema, whether it be 1975’s “Jaws,” “E.T. And while streaming has clearly siphoned off part of the audience, particularly for more serious films, what we think of as “summer movies” still have the potential to rake in cash just like the old days. (CNN and DC are both part of the same parent company, Warner Bros. Courtesy Warner Bros. PicturesInitially meant for streaming platforms, this vehicle will herald the cinematic arrival of DC Studios’ first Latino superhero, played by Xolo Maridueña of “Cobra Kai” and “Parenthood” fame. If the fast-paced trailer is any indication, the movie looks sure to whisk those dog days of summer doldrums away quite nicely.

Mylène Garot loved being on the water and wanted to start a boat-rental business in Miami. Garot used her savings to purchase a boat and started renting it on Boatsetter, an Airbnb for boats. My husband was a boat captain and managed property — it seemed pretty perfect. The revenue was growing, but a private renter, renting outside Boatsetter, damaged one of the boats in September 2020.

If you're a people-pleaser, you know how hard it can be to win arguments while keeping everyone happy. That makes Bo Seo's status as a two-time world-champion debater for Australia and Harvard University all the more impressive. But when you're too focused on pleasing others, you start neglecting your own feelings and point of view, Seo said. If so, your people-pleasing traits could be burying your own point of view — which is when you might want to make a change. That's an especially useful reframing for people-pleasers: You're simply articulating your own point of view, not disagreeing with someone else.

Dan dan noodlesIt’s nearly impossible to dislike China’s soul-comforting dan dan mian, or dan dan noodles. Dan dan noodles are named after the way they were originally sold more than 100 years ago – on a dan dan, a carrying pole, by street hawkers. Some think dan dan noodles should contain a dry mix of noodles, made with minced meat, chopped scallions, spices, crushed peanuts and various sauces. Others disagree, preferring dan dan noodles in a hot, spicy, salty and nutty broth albeit with similar ingredients. Similar to Hainanese chicken rice, the Wenchang version is often served with yellow chicken fat rice and chicken soup.
