The European Union has agreed to a ban on Russian crude oil imports as part of its sanctions against Russia for its invasion of Ukraine in February. The ban takes effect next month, but Bulgaria has been given an exemption and is allowed to import Russian crude until the end of 2024. The Bulgarian caretaker government plans to allow the LUKOIL Neftochim refinery to continue importing Russian crude once the ban takes effect and give it permission to export its output. LUKOIL Neftochim, which has switched to only Russian crude since the spring, expects to process a record high 7.1 million tonnes of crude oil this year, Sharafutdinov said. "The refinery cannot work if the exports are curtailed," Sharafutdinov told a joint news conference with Bulgarian deputy Prime Minister in charge of economic policy, Hristo Alexiev.

Lukoil is not under sanctions, but ISAB suppliers and lenders had been wary of dealings with a Russian entity following the Ukraine conflict. A sale to non-Russian buyers would avert the closure of the ISAB plant, which directly employs some 1,000 workers. Lukoil could provide temporary funding for ISAB, based on the minutes of a ministerial meeting held on Oct. 17 to discuss ISAB financing. Rome is also considering buying a minority stake in the refinery to protect Italian interests, one of the sources said.

În timpul procesului de realimentare a avut loc o scurgere de combustibil, urmată de un incendiu în aeronavă. Echipa de salvare a Aeroportului Internațional Chișinău a fost prima care a ajuns la fața locului, după care au fost mobilizate unitățile Inspectoratului General pentru Situații de Urgență din cadrul Ministerului Afacerilor Interne al Republicii Moldova. În timpul stingerii incendiului, echipele de salvare au antrenat interacțiunea unităților, precum și transmiterea promptă și în timp util a informațiilor pentru stabilizarea și eliminarea posibilelor consecințe ale unei situații de urgență. La exercițiu au participat și oficiali din cadrul companiilor Fly One, LUKOIL-Moldova, Air Moldova, Aeroport Handling și din sectorul poliției de frontieră IAC.

Несмотря на недавнее повышение, некоторые автозаправочные станции повысили цены на бензин в среднем на 75 банов. В ближайшие дни рост цен ожидается у всех поставщиков нефтепродуктов. При этом, пока не повысили цены заправочные станции Petrom, Vento, Rompetrol и Lukoil. Согласно прогнозу Совета по конкуренции, в Молдове в 2021 году продолжат расти цены на бензин, дизель и сжиженный газ. Как пояснили в ведомстве, рост цен связан с тем, что после обвала весной 2020 года мировых цен на нефть, цены вновь стали расти и достигли докризисного уровня.
