There are efforts to find "new methods" to transport Ukrainian grain to the world markets, Fidan said in an interview with private A Haber television. BUENOS AIRES, Argentina (AP) — An Argentine court on Tuesday overturned labor rules proposed by President Javier Milei that would make it easier to fire workers, in a new blow to the leader's efforts to shake up regulations that he says have hampered the country's struggling economy. The appeals court already temporarily suspended the incoming president's new regulations in early January after a legal challenge brought by the main union group, the General Labor Confederation. Milei's administration did not immediately say whether it would do so. Milei in December announced a decree that would make several changes to labor rules, like increasing job probation from three to eight months, reducing severance compensation and allowing the dismissal of workers who take part in blockades during protests. Last week, the president faced a one-day general strike, organized by the biggest union, but some government officials downplayed the effects of the protest.

"I reject outright the terms of surrender of the monsters of Hamas," Netanyahu said. Since then, Netanyahu has faced mounting pressure to secure the release the 136 hostages who remain in captivity. U.S. President Joe Biden said on Friday he spoke with Netanyahu about possible solutions for creation of an independent Palestinian state, suggesting one path could involve a non-militarized government. "My insistence is what prevented for years the establishment of a Palestinian state that would have posed an existential danger to Israel," he said.

NEW YORK (AP) — Walmart Inc. is raising the starting base pay for store managers, while redesigning its bonus plan that will put more of an emphasis on profits for these leaders. Roughly 75% of its store management started out as hourly workers, Walmart said. Walmart said that the store managers' new starting annual base wage ranges will be from $90,000 to $170,000. Walmart announced in January 2023 that U.S. workers would get pay raises the following month, increasing starting wages to between $14 and $19 an hour. Starting wages had previously ranged between $12 and $18 an hour, depending on location.
