Load up on wings and guacWing fans will like this: A pound of chicken wings is down 22% from January 2022 because of more supply. Last year at this time, the retail price for whole chicken wings was $3.38 per pound for the week of Super Bowl LVI, according to the US Department of Agriculture’s weekly retail price report. “Chicken wings were so expensive last year that consumers were looking for alternatives to serve at the party. “The dollar amount per person at this year’s Super Bowl party ultimately depends on what they drink and consume,” said Swanson. The 57th Super Bowl will take place on February 12, 2023, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
SuperAgers are a great example of how both genetics and lifestyle choices play a role in how the brain ages. In my book, "The Age-Proof Brain," I explore how they keep their brains young, boost immunity and memory, and fight neurological disorders like dementia. The workday beginsI tackle my most difficult and creative tasks early in the day, when my brain is most alert. Before bedtime, I'll catch up on baseball news and talk to my wife about our day. At 9:30 p.m., it's time to shut off all devices and listen to some music before turning out the lights.

What a weekend! After a 5G-powered robot performed surgery on my foot, I took a 5G-powered self-driving car to my 5G-powered house where a 5G-powered drone delivered a guacamole-powered burrito. But you know what did happen this past weekend? I turned off Verizon 5G on my iPhone—and barely noticed a difference. The 4G LTE performance and coverage felt just about the same.
To compete with rivals such as McDonald’s during lunchtime, the chain is considering permanently adding fries to its menu, Taco Bell CEO Mark King said during an investor event Tuesday. Taco Bell has put nacho fries, its take on French fries, on the menu periodically as a limited-time offering since the item launched in 2018. In the past, Taco Bell has tested nacho fries topped with steak and ranch sauce, and is currently offering seven-layer nacho fries loaded with beef, black beans, guacamole and more.

In the dark, Ukrainian restaurants serve customers by candlelight with special 'blackout menus'. Kyiv-based restaurant manager Dmytro Tkachenko told Insider: "We can adapt to anything." Executives at Taco Bell, McDonald's, and Chipotle each noted success from pricier menu items recently. The more expensive meal promotion successfully brought customers in, and "drove the highest weekly digital transactions ever in the US business," Kempczinski said in the October earnings call. Taco Bell is seeing similar success with pricier menu items like the grilled cheese burrito, YUM Brands CEO David Gibbs said in a November earnings call. In New York City, a Mexican Pizza costs $6.49, and a double steak grilled cheese burrito goes for $6.79, about double the cost of lower-priced burritos on the menu. Analysts have praised both the grilled cheese burrito and adult Happy Meal as smart strategies driving sales.
The barrage helped Oz climb back into a race that Fetterman had led all summer — by double digits, according to at least two polls. Fetterman, whose speech and auditory processing were affected by his stroke, agreed to only one debate, on Oct. 25. His struggles were apparent, stoking alarm the next day among Democrats who worried the performance would scare away voters. BIG PICTUREThe Fed is operating on data that’s offered a murky view of the economy’s health in recent months. On one hand, the housing market is cooling off markedly, but higher borrowing costs so far haven’t made a dent in inflation. That may reassure the Fed that there’s room to keep rate hikes going without triggering a recession. There is a glut of avocados in America and that’s triggered a steep drop in wholesale prices. Don’t yell at me, I don’t make the rules…Anyway, starting Thursday, it’s festive cup season, which Starbucks fans seem excited for.
Chipotle's CEO says customer orders have remained "consistent" despite price increases. Chipotle raised prices in August following two earlier increases in the last 18 months. Most customers aren't changing their regular orders or switching to less expensive proteins, he said. In the first quarter of 2022, Chipotle raised menu prices by 4%, CFO Jack Hartung told investors on an earlier call. Sales continue to grow faster than price increases, up 14% in the third quarter over the same period in 2021.

Chipotle Mexican Grill on Tuesday reported quarterly earnings that topped analysts' expectations as another round of price hikes hit its menus. CEO Brian Niccol said that the company saw "minimal resistance" to higher menu prices during the quarter, although transactions declined 1%. The company reported paying more for dairy, tortillas, avocados, packaging and labor. For the fourth quarter, Chipotle is predicting same-store sales growth in the mid- to high-single digits.
I'm not a trained chef, but my restaurant business is now valued at $100 million with eight locations, four food trucks, and a sister company. When Slutty Vegan first came to me I thought, 'Oh, 'slutty' and 'vegan' don't go together, but I can make them go together and make something really cool.' I'm introducing people to vegan food in a way that's fun and familiar. I just wanted to get people's attention and start a conversation about vegan food. I really got luckyI chose New York for my first Slutty Vegan location outside of the South because it represents the US as a whole.
CNN —A recent episode of “The Great British Bake Off” is drawing criticism from some viewers for its depictions of Mexican culture.
