"Baywatch" actor Michael Newman has died on Sunday after being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2006, his director and friend confirmed. He also said that before Newman died, he read him letters and played videos from friends of all walks of life, so "he knew he was loved." These hydrothermal vents belch warm towers of elements that draw clusters of animal life, such as tube worms. There, animals develop symbiotic relationships with bacteria that use chemical reactions to produce sugars necessary for life beyond the reach of sunlight. Two former Indiana University basketball players have sued their alma mater alleging their team doctor repeatedly sexually assaulted them and their teammates and the school did nothing to stop him. Delaney names the Trustees of Indiana University as defendants in the lawsuit, alleging Title IX violations by the school for failing to protect the students.
