Aged 20 to 28, two of the kids have mortgages and all the expenses that go with owning a property. We offered each of the kids enough money toward their airfares to cover flying to Europe. The offer was extended to the kids' partners, too. For Andrew and me, sharing adult time with our kids and their partners without the distraction of work and rushing was wonderful.
