Премьер-министры Молдовы, Украины и Грузии призвали Европейскую комиссию содействовать включению стран Восточного партнерства в европейский механизм распределения вакцин. Как отметили в министерстве, Молдова, Грузия и Украина обратились к Европейской комиссии с просьбой содействовать включению стран Восточного партнерства в европейский Механизм распределения вакцин. Также главы правительств трех стран попросили рассмотреть возможность применить и к странам Восточного партнерства механизма передачи вакцины ЕС по тому же принципу, который недавно применили к странам Западных Балкан. Ранее Еврокомиссия создала механизм Team Europe («Команда Европа») для распределения вакцин, с помощью которого страны ЕС делятся с другими странами вакцинами. Особое внимание будут уделять странам Западных Балкан, Восточного, Южного соседства ЕС и Африке.
