A woman in Kentucky who is seeking an abortion filed a lawsuit Tuesday that seeks to strike down the state’s near total ban. The suit, filed by a woman referred to in the documents as Mary Poe, alleges that two Kentucky abortion laws violate the state Constitution’s rights to privacy and self-determination. “I feel overwhelmed and frustrated that I cannot access abortion care here in my own state, and I have started the difficult process of arranging to get care in another state where it’s legal. Poe’s lawsuit is also requesting class-action status for all pregnant people in Kentucky who are seeking access to abortion in the state but are not allowed to receive the medical treatment because of the abortion laws. Grocery chain Asda is calling workers back to the office three days a week from January. The British retailer says it will improve on-site catering and provide better bathrooms for staff. Asda chair Stuart Rose said remote work doesn't suit the fast pace of the consumer goods industry. In recent months, companies like Dell and Amazon have announced that staff must be back in the office five days a week. If RTO policies become too strict, top talent will simply leave to find a system that works for them, Ravin Jesuthasan, a respected future-of-work researcher, previously told Business Insider.

Over the weekend, authorities in Kaifeng and Zhengzhou closed off bike lanes on Zhengkai Avenue, to try to stop cyclists from entering. To prevent students from joining the cycling crowd, some colleges and universities in Zhengzhou even imposed restrictions on leaving campus, according to accounts shared by students on social media. In the spring of 1989, university students in Beijing rode their bikes to Tiananmen Square to join pro-democracy protests that ended in a bloody crackdown by the Chinese military. Their journey quickly went viral, inspiring more Zhengzhou students to follow suit as the hashtag “youth is priceless” trended on social media. Others said local authorities should have been better prepared for the influx of students before they jumped in to promote the trend.

The estate of collapsed crypto exchange FTX has filed a suit against Binance and its former CEO Changpeng Zhao in an effort to wrest back at least $1.76 billion, citing a "fraudulent" share deal. The FTX estate alleges that the share repurchase was funded by FTX's Alameda Research division through a combination of the company's and Binance's exchange tokens, as well as Binance's dollar-pegged stablecoin. Binance denies the allegations, saying in an emailed statement: "The claims are meritless, and we will vigorously defend ourselves." That same month, Binance's Zhao pleaded guilty to charges of violating the Bank Secrecy Act for failing to put in motion an effective anti-money laundering program and for breaching U.S. economic sanctions. In another post cited, he said: "As part of Binance's exit from FTX equity last year, Binance received roughly $2.1 billion USD equivalent in cash (BUSD and FTT).

This year’s awards celebrated winners including Taylor Swift for best artist, Raye for best UK & Ireland act, Sabrina Carpenter for best song (“Espresso”), Benson Boone for best new artist and Tyla for best R&B.
