It’s obvious at this point that Trump will win men by close to double digits, ditto with Harris among women. An uptick in sausage demand can offer the latest sign of consumers tightening their belts as they continue grappling with high prices. There has been "modest growth" in the dinner sausage category for one producer, according to the Dallas Federal Reserve's Texas Manufacturing Outlook Survey released Monday. "This category tends to grow when the economy weakens," the respondent said, according to edited comments included in the Dallas Fed's report. That is because "sausage is a good protein substitute for higher-priced proteins and can 'stretch' consumers' food budgets." Baupost Group's Seth Klarman slashed his big stake in Google and YouTube owner Alphabet before the July sell-off, according to a new regulatory filing with the SEC. Alphabet had been Baupost's second-biggest bet in the first quarter. After rallying more than 20% in the second quarter, Alphabet has lost over 12% in the current quarter as investors rotated out of high-flying megacaps. At the end of the second quarter, Klarman's longtime holdings including John Malone's media conglomerate Liberty Global , Fidelity National Information Services and Just Eat Takeaway remained some of his top bets. The Odell Horton Federal Building, in downtown Memphis, houses several federal offices, including the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Tennessee. Elvis Presley's Graceland estate was the target of a scam. Ariel J. CobbertPhilbrick was in Memphis on Monday with a friend to tour the Graceland estate before testifying before the grand jury on Tuesday.
