I am minutes away from the ocean and one of my favorite restaurants on the island. This spring, I made the leap and moved with my two youngest kids to Negril, Jamaica. Overall, I feel like I have a better chance of longevity here. To me, the food in Jamaica tastes different from the food in the U.S. I knew only about four of my neighbors on the street and I lived in that house for seven years.

Many women start experiencing menopausal symptoms during those years of perimenopause, such as irregular periods, fatigue, sleep disturbances, hot flashes and weight gain. For most women, periods don’t stop suddenly, although there are exceptions when menopause is induced by surgery or certain medical treatments that stop ovarian function. Perimenopause is the several years preceding menopause, so the most common age for women to begin perimenopause is in their 40s. During perimenopause, hormone levels fluctuate a lot, and a test one day may look very different than one the next. CNN: Where should people go for more information on perimenopause and menopause?

Related storiesA 2022 George W. Bush Institute study found that US metros with the highest immigrant population growth scored the lowest construction costs. Without the supply of these workers, history suggests housing costs are likely to rise. These could be significant, given that the construction industry would be competing against other immigrant-dependent sectors. Trump's campaign has implied that cracking down on immigration will help ease housing unaffordability by effectively removing one source of demand. Meanwhile, Trump's platform is also pushing another policy initiative that's unlikely to help housing costs: tariffs.

"He's been the finalist for five different positions where they said, 'You're actually the best candidate we interviewed, but we require a four-year degree,'" Hyams said. The organization also argues that mass deportation would make more jobs available for Americans. The economic impact of mass deportation, he says, would amount to “utter disaster.”“We Americans, we, the country, we, in our communities, would be significantly damaged,” he says.

Small drones are a critical feature of combat in Ukraine, where they've been used for battlefield observation and attack. The hovering quality of the Sinwar video indicates it was likely filmed by a quadcopter. There's good reason to adopt a skills-first strategy: Hiring managers who practice skills-first hiring find it twice as easy to find qualified candidates than hiring managers who do not. But the advancement of generative AI has the potential to change that. To use AI effectively for skills-first hiring, talent professionals must understand how models have been developed and trained and audit and monitor those models for bias. Indeed's Smart Sourcing generative AI provides an explanation of the candidate's potential overlapping qualifications with the employer's job description. As crucial as AI will be to skills-first hiring, talent acquisition, and management always starts and end with humans.
