Sept 15 (Reuters) - South Korea coach Juergen Klinsmann has called on supporters and the media to help build a "positive spirit" around the team as they ramp up preparations for next year's Asian Cup in Qatar amid criticism of the side's performances since he took charge. "It's vital that everybody builds a positive spirit. The fans, the media and the team, obviously," Klinsmann told reporters at Incheon airport on Thursday. "But in the buildup to a tournament, a national team especially needs the help of the fans and the media to believe in it and to build a positive momentum." The Koreans are due to face Tunisia and Vietnam next month in friendlies as part of their preparations for the Asian Cup, a tournament Klinsmann believes they can win.

Sept 14 (Reuters) - Unions representing players in Spain's women's soccer league have called off their strike after reaching an agreement on minimum wages, the Futbol Profesional Femenino (FPF) organisation said on Thursday. The players went on strike at the start of the month before the first two fixtures of the season after failing to reach an agreement with the league on better conditions and pay. The FPF is the organising body of the top league of women's soccer in Spain. The minimum salary for next season will be 22,500 euros, with the potential to rise up to 25,000 euros, and the minimum salary for the final season covered by the agreement has been set at 23,500 euros, potentially increasing to 28,000 euros. Walker bemoaned his side's missed chances but said getting a draw on the road marked a good return for a side that had 11 attempts compared to two for Ukraine. England played more directly after the break and started creating more opportunities, including a Bukayo Saka shot that bounced off the bar. England, who conceded just their second goal in qualifying, are top with 13 points from five games followed by Ukraine on seven from four.
