After the 911 call, investigators from several agencies, including a bear expert from the Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife & Parks, examined the site but did not find any signs of bear activity. An autopsy determined the 35-year-old had suffered “multiple chop wounds,” according to the sheriff’s office. “He was brutally killed at his campsite,” Gallatin County Sheriff Dan Springer said. Investigators discovered that Nicholas Wayne Hamlett, 45, of Alabama had been using Andrade’s identification and that he was wanted in Alabama on a parole violation, the sheriff’s office said. The sheriff’s office advises anyone with information about the case to share it with them and to call 911 if they see Hamlett. Here’s the latest:• Gas stations still waiting for fuel: Just under 30% of the state’s gas stations have no fuel as of early Sunday, according to the monitoring website GasBuddy.com. In the hard-hit Tampa-St. Petersburg area, more than three quarters of stations, 77%, are out of gas. Some people told CNN they’ve had to use word of mouth to find out which stations have gas. Paula Cast told CNN her family visited four or five different gas stations Friday, but everything was closed. Then on Saturday, they got a call from one of their friends saying a Wawa station had gas.

CNN —One of two suspects accused of impersonating utility workers before killing a Michigan man and tying up his wife was taken into custody without incident in Shreveport, Louisiana, on Saturday, authorities said. Murray’s wife was tied up and her hands were duct taped before she called 911 Friday and told officials she thought her husband may have been kidnapped, the sheriff’s office said. “While checking the house to make sure it was safe, deputies found the husband’s body in the basement,” the sheriff’s office said. A video of a man wearing a respirator mask and identifying himself and an associate as DTE Energy workers looking for gas leaks was released by the sheriff’s office. “We appreciate the public’s help with giving us tips and information related to the Rochester Hills homicide involving the fake DTE workers,” Sheriff Michael Bouchard said in the release.

Body parts found in a freezer earlier this year after a Colorado home was sold have been identified as those of the 16-year-old daughter of the home’s previous owner, authorities said Friday. The death of Amanda Leariel Overstreet is being investigated as a homicide and an investigation is ongoing, the Mesa County Sheriff’s Office said. The last time Amanda had been seen or heard from was in April 2005, the sheriff’s office said. Amanda lived in the Grand Junction and Harris County, Texas, areas, the coroner’s office said. "The house was purchased, fully remodeled, and sold to the current owner," the sheriff's office said.

CNN —Eleven members of an Amish family – including a 1-year-old – were hospitalized in Pennsylvania Friday night after ingesting wild, “toxic mushrooms,” local authorities said. “It was wild mushrooms, but the hospital would have to confirm the type,” Southern York County emergency medical services Chief Laura Taylor told CNN. The fire department and EMS units went to the family Friday night after being told the 11 had “ingested toxic mushrooms and were all ill,” the fire department said in a post on Facebook. The family was transported to WellSpan York Hospital, Taylor told CNN. The Pennsylvania State Police and York County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond for comment.
