The Dallas Cowboys and quarterback Dak Prescott have agreed to a four-year, $240 million contract that will make him the highest-paid player in NFL history, according to multiple reports.
The long, drawn-out negotiation ended with him earning the biggest contract in league history, valued at $60 million a season.
Last season, Prescott set career highs in completions (410) and touchdowns (36), throwing for 4,516 yards with only nine interceptions.
He led Dallas to a 12-5 record, but the Cowboys lost at home in the first round of the playoffs to the Green Bay Packers.
Prescott is the Cowboys second key offensive player to sign a new contract after extended negotiations this offseason, joining his top receiver, CeeDee Lamb.
